Fasthosts brings down Edugeek - and leaves it there | The Register digg it here Digg - Fasthosts brings down Edugeek - and leaves it there well done zerohour hip hip horray edugeek is back.

there seems to be a issue when I edit a post have tried a few and I get this database error.

you need to download the latest update and do this http://www.edugeek.net/forums/edugeek-joomla-1-5-package/20931-rt_rokwebify-header-issue.html#post208492

to me a lot of these errors are caused by permissions you need to have image dir set to 775 min try that if not give me a shout and i will have a look when i have time.

Just to let you know I am continuing with joomla 1.5 and even if I did leave the fourm I would not leave it dead in the water as I think that would be unfair. I have done some work in the background and fixed a few boo boos I made like leaving the config file in and install dir not renamed back. That is all ok now. What I would sugest is leave your install for about 1 week as there are some nice updates in the next one I think. If you want a peak goto joomla 1.5 test site

This is just a note to all the people who have helped me on these forums over the last 3 or 4 years its been great I love helping people and the way people help others on here. As some of you will have seen Simplesi is taken over the joomla 1.5 project as his own. I wish him all the success. I would like to thank dos_box and sysman_mk. dos_box for this site of great things and sysman for joomla which is my new love and am now learning and becoming part of the joomla community and in the future helping to develop joomla 1.6.. I will miss this but due to a situation (Me being dyslexic is one plus a few others) I have to leave or I will say something I would regret for the rest of my life. Thank you once more and good bye from me.

oh this is a boo boo on my part delete the configration.php file and try again (I was in a bit of a rush when I zipped the file and forgot to remove it Issue has been corrected sorry for mistake.

sorry that's what I ment when I said it was a hack I have had to use it for one of my primarys as the students run the website and it too keep control. But I have had issues.

there are a few free googlemap joomla modules that can do this i think

If you want this kind of function you need to invest in something like jacl but be warned it is a hack but there are planes in the future of joomla for this type of functionality http://www.byostech.com/

you need to insure that your server is copable of streaming I will look into this as I have never used this in anger only for testing

sorry have had a few things on I did fix it and then it caused another issue so am still looking into whats happening.

the root file is images/stories unless you have changed anything you have saved in the you can access

this is done in the config page of jce

you can also create your own sections and subsections also if you use a a free programme called pdf creator to create pdfs to upload SourceForge.net: PDFCreator

I just like the way we are international I have sent them a little email asking that edugeek get recognition for there website design. (and if they are watching a little donation to the site would not go a miss). As If they are a comerational site a little donation for the work you put in would not go a miss I dont thing (If they have not done so already) Sorry about the rant its just I know how much work was put into it and and for all reconition to be scrubbed out seems a little unfair. Also what makes me laugh is if you use the tamplate changer and change to one of you own templates they have not changed the banner. LOL

Hi is this you sysman like the site I would have thought if they were going to teach joomla they would know how that it is etacate to keep the edugeek projects signature there. and if they teach it and train people on it they could at least offer us all a course as you did do the templates for them lol. not even put there website down as a user. oh and they charge?? Learn Joomla! courses, training, workshops in South Africa*-*Home

can you please explane your problem

did you manage to find one lol.

I have some. I think I have one pair. If you want them please PM me your address and I will post them to you.

I thought you would have it sysman. Yet again sysman saves the day.choose

I require a promethean bracket not the ones at the bottom of the board but the ones in the middle and I only need 1. Our boards got taken down while painting and one of the brackets has gone missing. Any help would be helpful I am willing to pay postage.
