if it is not in the site part with the other psd you will have to ask SYSMAN as he is the one that designed the templates. You could use the file in the templates and eg_red file its in the images it is saved as a png.

I dont understand what you are trying to achieve here If you are trying to link front end to back end this is very hard and can cause issues with security.

the problem comes if people have things like jevents and other modules like this also if they have created a new section this will fail and cause all sorts of linking issues This will only work if you are using origanal layout and have not modafied any section this is why I can recomend it. It took me 3 week to transfer and sort out linking issues. Also users are not transfered and so if a user is auther of a peice of work even if you recreate the user it will not link proplery Your content transfer metherd if fine unless you have made any major changes to the site. IE a secondry school will not be the same as a primary.

Migration is not available for this package and what you have posted will have implications on the package and so I cant recommend this. If people have created there own sections and other bits this could really make a mess of there site and so I will not recommend this is done. Sorry

Can I just say the way you have done the migration is not safe as one thing the modules translate in different ways the way you have done it is not safe and i would not recommend that it be done that way. It took months to get the package right and the modules affect the content. For example the editor used is different. And links wont work. This is why this package is not and never will be designed to migrate to.

I you want someone to be able to publish or unpublishe you need to make them a editor or publisher also an editor can publish and unpublish but only there own work

lol I have done this loads of time i dont seem to have the same issue. One thing that may cause this issue is some servers dont allow large uploads to the sql server via php its a security thing If you want i will post the sql file as while so that you can just import it if that helps

as i have previously said this package is not designed to be migrated to as it Is not as easy as a normal migrate and so if you want to use this package it is best to start from scratch as a lot of modules and components have changed.

I would enter a user that has permissions to upload to the server the details are hidden to standard users also check the the remember password is checked.

What about using mst software lanview 3 as you can force logoff remotely. I get email i then use lanview to force log user off

there is a module in docman that will do that for you in joomla.

it can be found on the sticky i update the link saves space but there is an issue at the moment my webserver cought fire so it might not be there.

there is an install guide but as a quick guide you select language put in database crend ftp credent and then click next there is no need to install sample data ignor the warning as the sample data has been built into the install sql.

this is not a war I hope all I have done is convert sysmans superb package into 1.5 it is not there to replace and never will be. If you use 1. keep with it 1.5 Is next gen and has only may this year become stable and so there are very few legacy modules for it. I never have nor will compete with people on this site. I hope this clears things up. the 1.5 package is to comploment the 1. package as time is presious to people and for one person to do both would take a lot of time. I did ask sysman if it was ok to conver his package and got the all clear.

you need to download the zip that site is my test site as i dont have access to the edugeek site to upload the zip file.

you dont need to import the joomla.sql file it will do it for you when you install if you do you need to change the #_ to jos_ and then create the config file manualy.

if you download package again it should work fine there seems to be a problem with my programme I use for zipping as it dropped a load of files. If you still have any issues come back and I will check it again.
