  5. Then what @Steve21, the Win8 recovery ? Does that do a reinstall. I've never used it.
  6. Hi all, Someones brought their laptop to me which needs restoring. Its an ASUS - No model name - with Windows 8 on it. Its virused I think so the cr@ppy win8 recovery probably wont do. Anyone know the key combo to enter ASUS recovery partition? Cheers in advance
  7. Gaffa tape 4 normal ones together then. I would. £15 each. TPLink. Cant go wrong.
  8. Like this but not as cr@p ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/WS-GPOE-12-1U-gigabit-Poe-injector-separately-black/dp/B00ENO3HT0

  10. Whatever happened to Soundblaster. Loading up samples on their cards. Oh what joy
  11. Thats why I went with the Ciscos. .........But I needed switching
  12. The netgear is your one m8 Cant go wrong for 80 quid. I use Ebuyer all the time. Pretty spot on.
  13. I'd say one of the Ciscos then myself. Especially if you need 12 ports. That Netgear is a smart switch. I.e. not managed. Will that do your VLAN's ?? EDIT.... It will -- after reading the full description.
  14. @DalekSec That Netgear only has 4 POE ports by the looks of it. What about a couple of of these... https://www.scan.co.uk/products/8-port-d-link-desktop-gigabit-poeplus-switch-upto-30w-per-port-with-a-total-poe-power-budget-of-140w
  15. £80 is a lot for that. Hey you need one tho' Some of the TPLink stuff isn't too bad either if you're prepared to get a Netgear.
  16. Ive got some 50 port versions of these. Theyre cracking. Cisco SF300-24P 24-Port 10 100 PoE Managed Switch with Gigabit Uplinks - Cisco Not that cheap tho. Check Ebuyer or Scan if you want next day.
  17. Check in your MS license centre. That'll tell you. I think it depends on your licensing scheme too. https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx
  18. Do you still need apple ID's with DEP ??
  19. 'That kit I bought from a computer fair works perfectly' --- not!
  20. Probably blocked on your SWGFL connection.
  21. You can using Advanced Installer but you may have to recreate the msi from an existing installation.
  22. Try this.... function printJobHook(inputs, actions) { if (!inputs.job.isAnalysisComplete) { return; } if (inputs.job.isColor) { var response = actions.client.promptYesNo("This print job is colour" + " and costs " + inputs.utils.formatCost(inputs.job.cost) + ". You can save money by printing the job in grayscale. " + "Are you sure you would like this print job in colour?", {"dialogTitle" : "Colour print job", "dialogDesc" : "Consider printing in grayscale to reduce costs"}); if (response == 'NO') { actions.job.convertToGrayscale(); } else if (response == 'TIMEOUT') { actions.job.cancel(); } else { return; } } } Are you sure the script isn't running twice. I.e. you're only running it on the virtual print queue not the printer aswell? The script looks fine to me. Have you tried it on another machine - not a Mac ? Or is it a Mac PPC server? Also if my script does the same (I think your have to restart the Papercut Print Processor service when you amend a script (I might be wrong!!)) then you've got something wrong other than your script I'd say. Mine definitely works. 100%.
  23. Log a support ticket in your O365 admin portal. MS's support is surprisingly excellent for Office 365. You'll get a call back within half an hour.
  24. +1 for PFsense on linux/BSD distro. Theres a quite a few software filters out there e.g. K9
