Brawn = Good Bernie = Bad. Super news. Pity they won't probably won't be able to change anything until about 2050 They host 3 grand prix in the US soon I bet.

I didn't listen to the track first lol. Good riffage btw. Shell out on EZDrummer. It'd be better for you in the long run. I got a Roland electric kit and a decent desk because I HATE messing about with a mouse when recording. Isn't too bad when you tweak the EQ... but you kinda need to be a drummer too!

Renewal time for our leased line

Not using any fixed in house at present. Should be fine for web access. -
That looks like expansion for the water heater looking at the pipe route. Its worth mentioning that expansion vessels have an 'inner tube' inside them that requires being inflated. That can play havoc with combi boiler water pressures. I wonder if that would affect your water heater? Hhhhmmm.

Not saying who it is cos I havent advised tenders who's won yet. Leased line fibre with backup ADSL in the event of failure is what it is. -
This is a seriously clever site... https://www.audiotool.com/app Bit complex but its free ! And this.. Drum pattern sequencer

Anyone got a recommendation for a nice little CCTV cam for my house?

Cheers guys. The little Netgear Arlos look OK. Wondering where I could mount them. Its to cover my driveway mostly. Too high and it won't see faces. Too low and its gone! -
Put your water heating on for about 3 hours. Don't use the timer, put it ON... timer could be faulty. Put the temperature to FULL. Thermostat could be faulty. If the water isn't warm or hot you have an issue with the thermostat or the element in the tank. Nothing else it can be. The red cylinder in your loft is the water tank/pump for your central heating by the look of it. Get the pressure in the middle of the big green triangle or that will be really inefficient too.

Apart from the 100% uptime SLA I've had with a secondary ADSL line. -
Renewal time for our leased line

@MYK-IT Yes it does. It looks really good. Get a demo if you can I'd say. Sophos looked pretty similar in functionality but the user interface was a lot more friendly. Features are quite nicely categorised in the UI e.g. BYOD, filtering etc etc. I was only quoted the option of hardware which tipped the cost over Smoothwall. I went for the Smoothwall renewal in the end because the cost savings weren't worth the hassle to switch - I've invested a lot of time in S'wall and I don't have the time or inclination to re-learn something else that does pretty much the same job. I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that Smoothwall is still based on PfSense (linux firewall) but modded.. or at least the firewall aspect. I looked at doing that myself too but too daunting ! EDIT: Oh! Sophos's safeguarding reporting looked a lot better to me... from the little I saw of it. -

I agree in part @AlanD. It depends where you are. However, for me the bandwidth guarantee a leased line brings is more necessary than not. Its nearly there, but not quite. -

lol. That guy is WASTED! -
Lol good pic. It probably does say that.

Exactly. Its a right pain and so clunky.

and Manor found an investor/buyer by the looks of it

Thanks all. Its a bit fiddly because we have certain users who we dont want O365 licenses for, but they are in the same security group as others. Will have to create some more finite groups methinks. Have to be manual for right now till I do.
-
That looks like great idea. I'll have a good look at that Cheers @difinity

cheers @ellsandell I'll take a looksy

Overclocking would be one. Power settings. Dual boot. Not running Windows - Gentoo Linux. Seriously the BIOS almost does nothing.

Hi all, The BIOS in HP Pavillion 15 gaming laptop is the typical AWFUL blue one you get on HP's. Hardly any settings can be modded although it is UEFI. Anyone know of a key combo to get more advanced settings on HP Pavillions. Or flash it with a proper UEFI ?
