Can't remember the individual cost per licence but I certainly know that it's not monthly only lol. Find yourself a CSP reseller and you'll get them annually through there

Use the Livetouch_x64.iso from MDT in WDS. In MDT, just have a basic tasksequence for a W11 install. You might need to use dism to extract the .WIM file from the W11 ISO image, as it's a .esd file on there. When you boot to WDS, select the W11 task sequence.

SAR Exchange Output Using Purview
fredesq replied to MartinT's topic in Data Protection & Information Handling
Use content search then in the export menu, you can set it to One PST for all messages. -
What are you confused about? The Exos brandline is bit like having WD Red Pro's or WD Gold drives - more warranty, more speed, more other stuff. The 16/18Tb disks around go for around £230 on deals up and over £300. That QNAP device is listed at £1600 on scan so the drives work out to be around 315 (with vat) - not a bad deal? not the best either though..

Check the audit logs for that user https://aad.portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMenuBlade/Audit You'll be able to filter by Activity and Target to find out who (Iniated by) removed the licence.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointmigration/mm-bulk-upload-format-csv-json You can do it with SPMT, you just need to feed a CSV file.

Photorec i've had good success with.

This, when it clashes with certain windows updates, will wipe the profiles regardless of when they last logged in in some cases.

winget upgrade --all You'll need to install the win10 package manager with Winget in it, but this works really well.

Just out of interest, what filter are you using that can use ad ds?
-
If you have GSuite you can authenticate users with that. As you can't auth with the AAD Papercut sync, only the AD DS which costs per month - which is a real shame. You could even set up a GSuite for this as it's free for the basic stuff then enable SAML sign on and the automatic account provisioning so your users are replicated to GSuite and Auth with Azure (this does work with the following method btw) So for that avenue to work with GSuite user sync and auth, you can use Mobility Print and Print deploy to deploy a print queue to your devices from a standalone Papercut MF install without the need for SMB based auth. 1) Sync users from GSuite 2) Setup print queues + mobility queue 3) Deploy a mobility queue to a windows machine 4) Swap the driver out from the mobility one to the full fat one for your printer 5) Use the print deploy cloner software, which basically takes a print screen of your deployed printer with the proper driver 6) Deploy that queue to the other devices.

When you click on the device in Autopilot and it brings up the context menu on the right, is there a link to the Associated Azure AD Device? If not then it sounds like you need to re-enroll the device.

See if you can assign an autopilot profile with the education portal : Microsoft Store for Education How long has it been like that? Sometimes they can take a few days to properly appear. Other thing to check, is in Intune, look at whether its registered as Cooporate, Personal or blank - if its blank or personal, give it some more time.

Every time they've asked for this (being bank statements), i've blacked out all transaction names and types other than proof of income and existing rent. I've left the amounts in though, but they don't really need to see I spent £1.99 on the play store or £400 on fixing my car; all they want is proof of income. Never had a probem.

Spent 3 years with 4g as main internet source at home. Used EE, Vodafone and Three, and two different 4g Routers. I solidly got 45-50mpbs on all of the careers were I lived which was a lot better than the 3-4mpbs on adsl. I had line of site to a mast, perhaps 400ft away - even with that, it dropped quite a lot. So for home use, was tolerable - i would never use it in a business unless it's a backup connection, even then it wouldn't be my first choice. Latency is really sporadic and on a good day only got as low as 60-70ms The biggest issue though for me, is CGNAT - i bought a VPS in some dodgy IP block for £16 a year and ran an OpenVPN server on that so I could get an exeternal IP address. I know the CGNAT thing is changing as more people are requesting this to be the default - I think this will be better with 5g and IPV6.

Been trialling P2P win10 updates here, far more efficient and absolutely no issues. Definately not going back!

It's known that Blue Iris performs badly in a VM - over on reddit.com/r/homelab you will always be told to run it on a baremetal server.

You're right - i've retracted my sweeping comment. It was a while ago we went through the comparisons, it was a definate glaring issue for some of the boards.
-
We went with prowise after reviewing everything in that price range. A few of the competitors talk to chinese servers we found (usually the ones with a cloud hosted control panel) and pretty much and just aren't feature-full. For example, the Prowise boards are used in the DoD meaning they passed their security requirements, i really can't imagine these ones doing that. The sound quality and volume is great for what they are. After support has been good, updates have been consistent, extra features have been rolling out as we've owned them and the devices have been reliable.

Yes. It's not elegant but it works. Create a guest user in O365 with their personal email and a different displayname to their school one e.g. J Bloggs vs Joe Bloggs Go to mail rules and you'll need to create one rule per user If 'the recipient is' Do the following 'generate incident report and send it to' | set the custom content to something like who its from and subject or whatever your data protection policy might allow They receive an incident report which.. is ugly but it works and you don't have any data leakage with forwarded email etc.

Thank you - I think this is the most clear (still not that clear haha) document i've seen. I guess our IT team is looking at this with the view to find a black and white answer where there isn't one and it's down to to SLT/Governance to take the lead on this for Staff and Guests connections.
-
Hi, I'm asking for clarification on what level of filtering and monitoring is actually required by law or gov obligations. In the keeping children safe in edu document, I can only find reference to the appropiate filtering and monitoring in relation to children - to me this is clear and the levels of monitoring and filtering should be lead by a risk assesment per school. What about staff? I've scoured a lot of documents and the answer Isn't straight forward - there isn't a direct address of staff on site and whether they need to be filtered and monitored. There are references to staff on saferinternet.org and the SWGFL for staff - but i'm failing to see where they've referenced it from. I understand the need to do it but I want to know the necessity. And guests? This is even foggier as there are some opinions of whether they should be monitored/filtered or not on this forum but I've not seen any evidence to support or deny the claims of whether guests should be monitored/filtered. I'm asking for any references to any laws / gov obligations that you have you used to define how your school does things?

Google Meet - Can a school just buy the breakout room addon?
fredesq replied to TwistedHelixis's topic in Cloud Services
A work around which isn't that dynamic but it works. Create a google meet event and take your link Go to your classroom and go to Classwork, generate a new resource and add the link as your resource. On the right, change it so only the relevant students see that resouce. -
Thanks for that catch. Will go and re-look through this.
