Hello all, Bit of a shot in the dark as this issue is very vague but single sign on to Microsoft services has been very inconsistent the last few weeks, never had an issue with it before. Nothing in admin centre about issues with the service, signing in manually does work and it registers the device with the user so if they log onto the machine again it is fine. I am just curious if anyone has ever experienced simular and where I'd start trying to solve this one as I see single sign on as this ethereal force I have no idea how to troubleshoot. Any help would be appreciated

Anyone seen issues with the start menu search going into an indefinite loop after KB5060842? We've had a few reports now on Dell 3520's though I assume it's not model specific. Uninstalling KB5060842 fixes the issue but it doesn't look like I can stop specific updates in WUFB

Hello, As the title suggests, we're having issues opening Microsoft applications like Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc. We're slowly upgrading from W10 to W11, and on W11, it's taking a crazy amount of time to load any of the above applications, whether you open them on their own, or by opening a file. We have our appdata going to the user's drive typically, which would follow them if they changed PC etc, but I have tested directing appdata to the C drive and this doesn't seem to change the speed. When looking on ProcMon, it's constantly doing QueryFileInternalInformationFile, QueryBasicInformationFile, QueryStandardInformationFile,ReadFile, WriteFile, CloseFile, CreateFile to appdata\local\temp. Other times, its doing it for C drive\windows\csc\v2.0.6\namespace (some with our file server name after 'namespace', some not) Is there any reason why these apps would take so long to load up? Some are taking an hour plus to load up a simple excel document.

Hi, I am working on my next years Windows 11 Image and appear to have an odd issue where the start menu search does not work on the first login. The Start menu opens and the search appear but when you type nothing appears. In task manage the search is suspended after a log out and back in all is good and works but each time you use a machine where you don't have a local profile the issue occurs. Has anyone else experienced similar ? Thanks

So I learned that I can't use WDS to deploy Windows 11... That's a pain as it does everything I need it too and (more importantly) I know how to use it. I was under the mistaken impression that the MDT ran on top of WDS... But I guess not.. anyone got a nice guide on MDT the microsoft one make my head scratch.

errr, I've seen two staff this morning with Windows 11 on their laptops! I asked how it happened and they said the laptop told them to.... How are non-admin users able to update an operating system?!!?! How do I disable this! What GPO is there! ffs Micro$oft

I'm not sure if a windows 10 policy is causing a conflict with this, but on our 4 windows 11 machines, non admin accounts can't left click icons on the taskbar (wireless, sound etc) nothing appears when they click. But if you log in with an administrator account, it works fine. Anyone else encountered this? thanks!

Hi I'm looking for some advice, been trying to do this since November and starting to pull my hair out. Been looking on the forum to see anyone had fixes but haven't seen any yet so thought to ask myself. I know people are going to say don't capture images however in our case we haven't really got that option at the moment - we have some software doesn't like being not sysprep'd. Before we moved to build and capture images it used to take us over 3 hours using a original ISO then installing applications and updates in the task sequence now using build and capture takes us around 35 minutes for a device to be ready to use. This has worked fine for us when we first started using it in Windows 10 20H2, then Windows 11 22H2 and 23H2 however on 24H2 after the image has sysprep'd it gets stuck on Just a moment for around 10 minutes then reboots with Hello there, and why did my PC restart. I've looked at logs and found nothing out of the ordinary. MECM 2409 with 24H2 WinPE boot images. I've tried taking everything out of our capture image other then the default (even removed the unattend.xml) however no joy. Has anyone experienced this or have suggestions to fix other than not capturing. I've tried every base image 24H2 English International ISO Microsoft has released however they all error. I got desperate and tried to automating it up until Prepare Configuration Manager Client, after that step manually running sysprep which runs fine but still causes the Why did my pc restart message. Any advice would be great thanks
