The first two have a few clips of my friend learning to fly his Hexacopter which he built using the parts list I posted on EduGeek. Mine is in progress still, as I said before, time and finances allowing, but Frame Built, Motors soldered and installed and ESCs soldered up ready. I've got the Props (with some spares) on order along with some cable and zip ties. As discussed before, still looking at the Flight Controller and fully take on board what you've said recently. Looking to 'modify' an DVD Cake Holder for the cover at the moment. Getting to the point where the 'big' purchases need to be made (ie. Flight Controller, Radio gear) but coming along nicely. Trying to be patient, but these Videos spur me on a lot more! Pete

Well on the FC side, the Cirus AIO Pro V2 has been released and its looks great, its got all the hi-precision sensors on it but its half the price of the Rabbit, I have not used one but when I get another flight controller it is either going to be that or an APM 2.5. APM 2.5 is an andrino board that is so good, its open source and the software is the same/better than others that cost thousands. Make sure you get your props balenced just right, youtube has some great videos on how to do that, I just balence the props by adding tape to the lighter side. @hardtailstar here is the parts list I added to this site http://www.edugeek.net/forums/general-chat/105744-fpv-quadcopter-basic-parts-list-jabcopter.html a friend has already made a Hexacopter from this list so you know its all good

There was some great filming similar to this used on last night's brilliant Colin McRae programme (BBC iPlayer - Racing Legends: Colin McRae (High Definition)) What about the items shown in these videos as (alternative) ready built options?? JAB1a Posted January 28, 2013 Author Posted January 28, 2013 Both great bits of kit, never done ready built becuase I like to modify to my needs but to someone else it might be just what they are looking for. Problem with ready built for noobs is that you skip the main theory behind the build etc so if it goes wrong you might spend WAY too much to fix a simple problem but thats just my opinion I will watch that Colin McRae video tonight, thanks for the link
