180-190g protein, 400g carbs, around 2500 cals.

Go everyone. :)

Did a chest and back DTP session yesterday, but did supersets, so 50 chest press then 10 second break into 50 back rows then 40, 30, 20 10 and back up again to 50 so all in all 600 reps - takes around 30/40 mins.

Currently:

Squat 120KG

Deadlift 140KG

Chest Press 60KG

Shoulder Press 50KG

Leg Press - 190KG

My Cardio is fairly good but i don't really work on that too much in the gym, leave that more for at rugby matches etc

Hitting about 1900Cals a day with 170G of Protien

Two days at BETT which included an all-you-can-eat buffet (with jelly, yay!) and two boring train journeys that involved various snack foods..

Oh well, the weekend is shot - I'll eat like a pig tomorrow and start again on Monday :)

Been a week since I started the Gym and I know its early days but I am happy with it so far. Ordered a totalgym for home use to compliment the days I am not at the Gym. Before starting the gym I did rework my diet slightly and my weight is going down which is good. Kinda slipped my mind when I did a workout on the treadmill, cross trainer and bike that I had to go bett the next day!!

For bett I pre peeled some grapefruit and put it in a ziplock bag for the morning snack with some homemade chicken tortilla wraps for lunch. Hopefully I will stick to what I am doing hope you guys do too! Keep up the good work :D

Since my last weigh-in on the scales, lost 1/2 a stone! Had a bit of motivation though, but doing really well, soup for dinner each day at work, gone to pot a bit this weekend, but hopefully first time tonight out on my new bike! SUUUUUPER bright LED's I think im more excited to see how much they light up lol

Sounds like you have all done really well at BETT. I only put on 0.5Kg which considering the hours worked, beer drunk and food eaten is not too bad. I can also feel smug about going for a run on Tuesday evening :D

Keep it up all and have a great week this week.

The diet just consists of A LOT of exercise, I'm now a manager of a youth football team so I coach 3 times a week for 1 and a half hours, then I play football myself twice a week for between 1-2 hours, then I go to the gym for weight 3 times a week,

I haven't changed my diet per say, but I am just eating smaller portions and cut down on snacking.

Oh ... a short break to NYC and I've gained 6lb :(

Back on the good behaviour and a trip to the gym this afternoon!

6lb!!! Blimey, what DID you eat?

I am on my non-religious can-she-show-willpower giving-up-everything-nice-for-Lent kick at the moment so that should help to keep the weight down a bit

I have learned something new this week. For anyone who takes up running as a new activity take it easy, and build up your distance and pace slowly.

The lesson for me was - if you push it too quickly you can injure yourself. Only a minor calf tear, but quite painful and has set back all of my exercise for at least a week. Still, I have been eating well and this week lost 0.5Kg (ish).

That is not too bad (for a NYC holiday). Don't be disheartened and get back to where you were (diet and exercise) you will find holiday weight disappears quite easily :)

@witch, I'm hoping some of it is the after effects of the flight. Previous experience suggests that I shouldn't weigh myself until I'm 48 hours clear of the plane as that's a more realistic measure of weight gain.

We did eat a lot though. The seafood in particular was amazing :)

Well once again i'm re-visiting this thread. With a mix of new baby and lazyness my weight has once again reached the 15+ stone mark (15st 9 last Monday) Just doing circuit training once a week was not enough to offset my general unhealthy eating. So last week I changed it up again.

I have started the 5:2(fast) diet as a boost to get me started, I couldnt do this diet long term but as a boost and as mental queue to get back eating healthy it has helped.

Also along side my circuit session once a week I ave started doing the "Insanity" workout before work each morning (6am)

So 1 week in and i've lost 6lb - happy with that.

Current weight 15st3lb

Back on it again, watching what I eat and upping my exercise levels...hoping to get it off (and more) this week :-)

balooned to 97KG in the 3 months since May, mostly due to heavy and regular beer and wine intake, mixed with a large drop in excersise during the winter months.

Have joined a gym, so hopefully will get myself back on track!

Weighed myself 2 weeks ago and I was just about 15 1/2 stone so decided I needed to sort myself out.

So, 2 weeks having eaten a lot less and doing half an hour of cardio every day and I'm down to 15 stone 1lbs. Hoping to get to 14 1/2 stone by term time.

Eventual goal is 12 1/2 to 13 stone.

Weighed myself last week, I've slipped back to 8stone. Some say that being 8stone at 6'1" and 19 years young is bad, and that I need to eat more. All we know is, he's called The Stick (stick thin... no? :getmecoat:)

I am 5'11" and weighed 9 stone 5lb at university despite eating like a horse. I was training daily, swimming and kayaking, and could not put weight on. A doctor told me that I shouldn't be below 10 stone 7 lb... but I couldn't get near it until I was about 25.

@TBlax 8 stone is TOO light at your height. Please get your thyroid checked outby a doctor... it's a simple blood test.

The thing is I eat like nobody's business, I went through a phase of eating a lot of junk food too and I hardly put anything on. I did mention it to a doctor during an appointment a few years back and she wasn't very informative, she just said it was "high metabolism levels" - still no idea what that means, even more annoying was she was a temp and when I brought it up again recently it "wasn't in my notes" and I "didn't know what I was talking about.".. needless to say I've not been back to a GP since.

You should go back. You are unlikely to be growing rapidly now, although you may still be growing. Make a specific appointment and don't 'just mention' your weight.. discuss it properly and find out what you should be.

I had an overactive thyroid after the birth of my son... that's basically your metabolism going too fast. You burn off food and then body fat and when there's no fat to burn on your body, your muscles start to waste. It is very serious. It took 6 months of 'block and replace' therapy to fix mine. Please get yourself checked out properly. At 19, you will feel indestructible... unfortunately, you aren't.

My son is a year younger than you and 6'5"... he is 11 stone 5lb and as thin as a rake. I dread to think how thin you are.

Beers, curries and domino's. Worked a treat for me :drunken_smilie:
