Dos_Box Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) OK, given our sheer numbers and demographic i.e. at least one of you will buy anything! I have just noticed this article from the BBC: BBC News - Onesie: Great gift or fashion crime? proclaiming the popularity this winter on the 'Onesie', a large artificial fibre romper suit. So, who already has one (as if you'd admit it anyway!) or who has asked for one for Christmas? It's just a small step away from considering that 'popping down the shops' like this is acceptable once you start to wear one. Edited December 18, 2012 by Dos_Box
glennda Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've got one but it was for a party! Honest!
tech_guy Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 We get the students around here (Cov Uni) wearing them all the time around town. Seen it up in Nottingham as well (where my daughter is at uni).
Devontechie Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've seen people walking around with them on. But I haven't got one
LeMarchand Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 She looks quite cute. I can't imagine that the T.A.s and various chavs/chavettes that I have heard discussing them look even the slightest bit appealing in one. Marginally less horrible than a slanket, though.
Dos_Box Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 *Busted!* - I've got five Did you buy them or were they 'presents'?
Fleetwood Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) Did you buy them or were they 'presents'? Three were 'thatgiftthatyoureallydidn'twantbutsmileandtakeitanyway'/presents, the other 2 I bought myself. They were for work purposes though, honestly! Oh the joys of working at Primark during college years.. (We were raising funds for the breast cancer foundation and we had to all wear pink. Me being all 'Maaaannnnly' *cue Ray Winston* I wasn't keen on wearing pink, until I noticed one of our Monkey onesies had a big pink patch in the center-front, so I bought it and wore it for the whole day. It was bl00dy boiling. Edited December 18, 2012 by Fleetwood
mthomas08 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 My other half, her sister, my mother and I think my older sister all have 1....
Fleetwood Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I'd like to point out at this stage that I do not wear the onesies outside/in public. That's just asking to be happy slapped. 1
synaesthesia Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've got one, but it's latex. (watches half the forum )

GrumbleDook Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Presently hunting for a tiger onesie ... purely to make my daughter happy ... honest!
bandgeekmafia78 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I'd rather wear dungarees, which are also just as awful.
Fleetwood Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've got one, but it's latex. (watches half the forum ) Oh Mr. Grey
synaesthesia Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 TTIUWP Even if I did, I don't think I'd ever be that brave! After all, it's bad enough watching fat people in spandex/lycra!
arwen Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) I don't have one, but I do quiet like this one and this one Edited December 18, 2012 by arwen syntax

Rawns Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 My bro-in-law got me one last Chrsitmas. It was a military digital camouflage one. I wore it once for a photo due to peer pressure, then it immediately went in the bin.

laserblazer Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I've got a waterproof one for sailing. Does that count? 1
