Garacesh Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) 22, no kids that I know of, I aim to keep it that way for now. I'm not in a place financially or relationship(-ally?) to father a child. Someday, sure, when I'm capable of caring for a child and have a serious partner. Talked about it with my ex-fiance (not planning to have kids, but it's better to have a plan in case accidents happen, than to not have a plan) but nothing ever came of it. And then we split up. So it looks like that's a no-go Edited December 11, 2012 by Garacesh

samba_man Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I have other things to be spending my time, money and patience on!
arwen Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Curious why this thread is for guys only...? Not all women want kids you know! I'd rather have a dog :-)
Oaktech Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Well, I don't have kids, but SWMBO tells me this is only temporary.
Garacesh Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 And far too young anyway, IMHO to be thinking about children. I didn't say we'd made arrangements to have a baby, I said we'd discussed it Accidents happen - we figured having a plan was better than not. That wasn't really made clear in my post, I guess. I shall edit it accordingly.
CHR1S Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Almost 30, no kids but my girlfriend has a son.

I suppose what I meant was that 22 is young to be even discussing it IMO I didnt meet mrwITch till I was 25 and we didnt reproduce until I was 29 and that was a "surprise"
HaleStorm Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 No kids, and no plans in the next 3-4 years. Getting married in June though. My Fiancee is going through a secondment process from being a Ward Support worker at the hospital to being a Staff Nurse, which means a hell of a lot of coursework
X-13 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 This probably goes without saying... I have no kids.

Enjoy the joys of being young and free while you can
Garacesh Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I suppose what I meant was that 22 is young to be even discussing it IMO Enjoy the joys of being young and free while you can My plan is - roughly - maybe in 3 or 4 years. Gives me time to cement myself into a stable career, find a nice lady to settle down with and have a house that's suitable for little ones. How well that works out, I don't know. Kids aren't something I'm actively aiming towards at this current time in my life. So it might be another 10 years before I father a child, or I might have one already I don't know about (I dread to think!). Life has its way of never playing out according to plan, or so I hear.
rad Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Been together 9 years, married and moved into our house in 2012 so still early, but at 29 I'm not sure if we want to produce our own. We like kids but alth we both work with them every day, we enjoy giving them back at the end of the day and them being someone elses responsibility. If it happens it happens and we work things through but no plans at the moment.
tomgrindle Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Almost 20, still single, so surprise surprise no kids. Would absolutely love to one day ... but had better get myself settled down first lol
NikChillin Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 No kids, but three children. I am not a goat.
superatticman Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Never wanted kids. Prefer cars, traveling, football, shagging around, eating well etc etc!
