Had an excellent day today, the first BETT show I've been too. Picked up lots of pens and had an awesome little man memory stick from a Dell stand! Had a good chat to a few people, also stuck my head around the corner to the Edugeek stand in the Smoothwall one. Did introduce myself but was snubbed a bit! I guess you must have been a bit shy or tired. Later I did get chatting to a couple of very chipper ICT Direct and Smoothwall people about ICT Direct's interactive table, that is an interesting bit of kit. They also gave us an Edugeek lanyard each which was very good of them, I wore it with pride! Edited by samba_man

Hey! I be awesome.

Anything else said about me is slander.

Awesome, you may be... But you don't have your name on the wall. :p

Something must have gone wrong at the printers. @Domino was on there somewhere? :D

Did you really just spend 20 minutes with photoshop just to make that joke?

That's commitment to comedy, right there.

I love being there when people start explaining how grateful they are for Edugeek. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Did I see you @koryo?

@SYSMAN_MK I missed you. I was showing @Domino your latest creation for me :)

And domino suppressed the urge to vomit....damn you both

Sounds like you all had great fun! :D hopefully I'll be able to make my first appearance at next year's BETT :) - important question is, what freebies did you all get?!

Testing from the stand with the new Android app! No webcam though so you can't see this tasty beer and Chinese food....

You did. It seems this is going to be the new thing at BETT. "Who met X-13?"
More like "who worked out that x-13 was the one hiding at the back" :) And anyway anyone with their name on the wall and a good job title on their badge deserves their fame! :) It was nice to meet you. Hope we'll see you again next year.

I have much enjoyed my time at BETT again. Met some new friends and some old ones (some older than others ;) ) Avoided Pizza Fatigue. Supplied physical eduhobnobs to weary geeks.

Accompanied the 'school trip' to the O2 where Edugeek class had a lovely ride on the cable car to see the pretty lights. Witnessed further child like excitement over jelly in Jimmy's world grill... Maybe it was pizza fatigue that made everyone so happy to have jelly. Have you posted the edujelly picture @vikpaw ? :D

I made eye contact with @X-13 does that count?!

Sadly, it doesn't.

A successful win in the "Find X-13" game is only counted on activation of speech or through physical contact [Like @witch and her ninja-hug...] AND the offering of your Edugeek name.

I had such a good time and it was great to take the youngsters on the cable car with @elsiegee40 although @vikpaw got a bit overexcited - bless

I did speak to @X-13 and I have to say he seems pretty normal to me and, as he said, I got to hug him.Actually, I hugged almost every geek I met as well as the ICT direct crowd even though a certain person was very rude about me! ( you'll get your come-uppance DF)

I missed a lot of people too - would have liked to have seen @plexer and @localzuk for a start but there is always next year.

Or maybe there will be something other than the Northern meet this year?

Hope so
