    Oh, that one...
  1. Nope, just random call saying they "found it" with my business card in it and then sent it back - all I had to do was pay cab fare. Sometimes you don't ask questions. Also had my package of antacids, which helped out both Shawn and I. @X-13 If it did, it was nice that one of us had the time...
  2. I did get it back, in what was truly a Festivus Miracle. Delivered to the ExCeL in a taxi.
  3. Don't let your Surface 3 out of your sight, ever, even at the hotel.
  4. It looks like my Bett 2010 lanyard needs to be busted out again (retro yellow)
  5. Also, there are many vendor/exhibitor parties on the Friday night, so often Saturday is one where extra loud noises are not appreciated by those in the booths.

    BETT it is!

World's largest ICT show will attract all kinds of riff-raff, even from the colonies. Plus I think I'll drop off those coffee flavoured chocolates again if I remember, they seemed to go over brilliantly.

    BETT it is!

Can't wait to come across the pond again, and visit all the stands, including edugeek, of course.

    Bett 2015?

It was an impressive show, I must say. Lots to see and do and people to chat with. Thanks for the Edugeek mug - having a tea in it as we speak - I think it was a fair trade for some coffee-flavoured chocolates, don't you think?

I'll make sure to pop by on day 1 and drop off some dodgy North American chocolates for the Edugeek staff, all whilst rocking the retro-yellow lanyard, of course.
  11. My lunch protip: take the cable car over to the O2 for Nandos...the extra cost of the trip (and Nandos for that matter) is worth not having to stand in the queue for 30 minutes or then having to sit on the floor because all the tables are filled.
  12. Haha glad you liked it. Next year if I make it - assuming the Dreamliner isn't falling out of the sky (but that's a different story all together) - I'll bring something with a bit more thought behind it in the chocolate department.
  13. Shame I only brought chocolate...
  14. After dropping by the gents the last few years at ISTE, it's the least I can do to visit edugeek on its home soil I'll wear my lanyard from Philly (or did I get it in Denver or San Diego...it's all a blur)
  15. Looking forward to making the trip over. Staying the whole week at Canary Wharf, so any hints for dining in the area would be appreciated!
