Hello everyone. My name is Chris Rubal and I own and operate a digital signage business. I thought I'd join this forum in case anyone has any questions. Digital Signage blurs the lines between IT, communications, and creative services so questions often pop up. We handle all aspects of digital signage from hardware sales, to installation, to content development. So, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks Eddie - Whatever it was you said  - I'm affraid that's my limit of spoken Chinese - oh and Gung Hay Fat Choy - I can write the numbers up to 99 though

I said "I am fine and thank you" in my last message.

"Gung Hay Fat Choy" is very good phrase when Chinese New Years come, when you say this to others then, they will give you red envelop with cashes in it. Cannot wait and anticipate that day to say this.:)

I have said it many times at Chinese new year - never been lucky enough for anyone to give me cash though :( - Perhaps if I'd been in China and not the UK I might have had more luck.

I did get given a nice cookie yesterday - we take part in a Japanese Exchange program and one of the Japanese Teachers was handing them out in the Staff Room :)

Thanks for the friend invite by the way.

Hi I'm Roger

By training I'm an educational publisher (Longman) not a techie, but now I'm self-employed and working, with a colleague, on a software project for Primary schools (Primary Progress toolkit).

I have joined edugeek to try and improve my understanding of the ways in which our software can interface with schools' MIS systems...

Yup - good to be here.

I think the last association I had with Edugeek was when I presented on behalf of Edugek/Becta at the Cardiff RM seminars a while back. (Everything went well too!)

Planning to grind down the uneven patch of time that is the "Work-Life" balance :)

Oh, and if there's anyone out there who plays GuildWars, please add my accounts.

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on these boards.

I have recently started my second job in the IT education sector. I think I am destined to work in education.

I just came across your forum cause I was searching for a solution to my laser printer persistent paper jamming. This forum helped me in part, so I feel I should give back and help others!

I live in L.A., CA and some of the computer problems are occurring here because of the dust from the recent hugest brush fire.

Welcome. Brush fires!? Nothing exciting like that ever happens here in the UK. A fairly intense drizzle tends to make the news and cause rush-hour chaos here. Unless you live in northern Scotland of course where the last ice age is still retreating through it!

If you are still having problems with your printer, try checking out Do-It-Yourself InkJet and Laser Printer Repair (HP, Apple, Epson, and More) - fixyourownprinter.com

- especially try searching their forums - Printer Repair Forum - fixyourownprinter.com

I've found many a random HPLJ error code and Epson laser quick fix there.

Hope this helps,

Chunks

(A big fan of EpsonSSC since visiting fixyourownprinter.com) :D
