Lisamh Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Hi I'm a newbie !!! I'm sorting out the new pupils in Sims for Sept and have a quick question. Can I re-import a ctf file into sims ? One of the pupils in the ctf (only 2 pupils in the ctf) didn't import as it had a different UPN (rectified now) so wondering, if I reinport the ctf file it will muck up the other students details (which imported ok) ? Any help will be great! Thanks

Ditto Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Hey all, just had to make an account so I can view a thread about unlocked the Gov. issued laptops - - - Updated - - - And now this is my second post so hopefully I can view it - - - Updated - - - Nevermind, time to post somewhere else Welcome aboard. Hang in there - you are in the right place to get the answers (or at least shared experiences) you want! There are a small number of forums that have some restrictions on access, I'm sure someone will come along shortly and explain. Ultimately, try posting about 5 other items in any threads that take your interest. It doesn't have to all be IT related. Perhaps you have a suggestion for the EduCook thread or views on electric vehicles, or you could visit the Wildlife thread - although that's got a bit racy recently. Re the EV thread, some members on hear have very strong views on this! See how quickly you can work out who. Before you know it, you'll soon have access to almost everything. 1

GrumbleDook Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 hello, I'm John, working in a secondary school At this time of year and throughout summer ... IT Staff don't *work* in secondary schools. It is more a case of *living* there to get everything done!!! (one aspect I don't miss!) 1

It's a thing in America in some places at Universities e.g. having a "cot" in the office.

Not going to lie, I big driving force in registering now is to keep an eye out for how other IT depts are dealing with covid. It's all pretty complicated!
