"Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone"

From one of my favourite films ever.... A classic

Far too easy, Oldboy! The line itself is, of course, from the poem Solitude by Ella Wheeler Wilcox.

"The farmers have won. We have lost." used in two of my favourite films and "I'm a fuel-injected suicide machine! I am a rocker! I am a roller! I am an out-of-controller!" from my top film.

yep - Love that movie, I keep watching it !! Well, I wouldn't eat a dead bird would I ? :p

Think top two moments are probably Predator impressions and the reaction everyone has to the comic cover.

Indeed! Fantastic film that I highly recommend!

On DVD too....not the Film4 watered down version!!

Edit: Next one is from a film I saw last saturday....

Thomas: In a sense, you're a true Norwegian hero.

Hans: No, you're wrong about that. There's nothing heroic about what I do. It's dirty work.

It is a brilliant low-budget film, and another that I would recommend!!

It's strange that I know where that's from... despite NOT seeing the film.

2 of my most favorite quotes see if you can guess what films they are from - "Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible C!@t....... me" - and also "Chicken and Broccoli" Edited by cpjitservices

I know the second is Crank 2.. confused the hell out of me as to what it meant when he said that!

No idea to the first one.. sounds like something that should come from Pulp Fiction, but judging from the 'orrible C!@t' bit, it has to be something more UK based... Lock Stock or something of that ilk?

Snatch?

Not a big fan of Guy Ritchie and his Mockney films....

"I've never lived closer to danger, but I've never felt safer. I've never felt more confident, and people could spot it from a mile away. And as for this, the violence? I gotta be honest - it grew on me. Once you've taken a few punches and realize you're not made of glass, you don't feel alive unless you're pushing yourself as far as you can go."

Confused until I saw the made of glass bit.. Green Street is one of my favourites :)

"You know the best part? It isn't knowing that your friends have your back. It's knowing that you have your friends' back. "

As for :

"if you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem. Quit being a part of the problem and put the other guy back on!"

"That's not a knife...THAT'S a knife"

Funny, I was watching the sequel yesterday as it happens! I LOVE Crocodile Dundee (both of them)

Punk: What's your chances of getting out of here with that jacket on?

*Laughter*

Mick: [throws his knife across the room into the punk's mohawk] Better than average

Punk: Yeah, I'll go along with that.

First a prayer:

And Shepherds we shall be For Thee my Lord, for Thee Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.

So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In Nomine Patri, Et Fili, Et Spiritus Sancti.

Rocco: F***in'- What the F***in'. F***. Who the F*** F***ed this F***ing... How did you two F***ing F***s...

[shouts]

Rocco: F***!

Connor: Well, that certainly illustrates the diversity of the word.

@TheLibrarian that last one reminds me of a supposedly true line said to be the longest* uttered with just profanities but still making perfect sense...

Royal Marine Officer: "Why is my car not ready?"

Royal Marine mechanic: "F***ing f***ers f***ing f***ed"...

[edit] *or should that be shortest?
