How on earth was this one missed in Apple's testing labs?

 

Because their "labs" are a group of people sat in Starbucks cradling lava hot coffee?

Has anyone else read this? It looks like the new iPad 3 comes with built in central heating.

 

It kind of sounds familiar to the iPhone 4. A rubber band will probably be shipped out soon to all iPad 3 owners

Will probably have to buy a special cover that has a copper heat sink ( it does after all have a quad core / much faster cpu ) which no doubt creates a lot of heat doing all those calculations for gaming *cough cough* I mean productive work....

I'm not so sure though - a quick search online reveals many news websites reporting the same thing. Even more odd, the iPad 3 is designed to work in environments no warmer than 32C. It can easily get warmer than this in South of France or Spain in the Summer.

 

I think time will tell when kids report they're cooling off and so cannot do any work. That would be hilarious!

Had a lot of things about the iphone 4 screen going funny colours due to the glue etc when they were first released and had no issues with my iphone 4 or any other ones I had seen people buying / using etc so I did not see any evidence of that myself.

I don't understand that comment either. The Samsung LTN097QL01-A02 LCD panel in the new iPad is 2048x1536.

Urrr, I've just returned my new Ipad 3 as I found it unesssasary. full refund from apple and they sent a courier, great service anyway.

 

The pad was ok but the sharp display didnt blow me away as I'd hoped. It's nice but I just didn't need it. The Ipad is like music you need to be doing something else whilst using it. (TV, Pooping, bed, etc)
