I'm old enough to remember floppy drives, which used to accumulate all kinds of things - including on one memorable occasion the top portion of a print out of a child's CV. You know, the bit with the name on.

I remember the days of floppy drives and the worst thing i ever found was a condom! Yes you read right, a condom un packaged and stuffed inside the floppy drive! Didnt care to see if it was used or not just binned it!

This begs the question, if you took thin slices of potato, could you make crisps in a laser printer?

Genuinely found some using a paper shredder as a potato ricer because (and I quote) "it had a big enough tub to do all the potatoes needed and its electric so needs less energy"

And on Vimeo, I saw a guy who found an ant colony in his scanner. So he scanned it each day and made a timelapse video out of it.

Worst thing found inside a computer case. Hmm. An original Athlon motherboard and processor trumps any possible living (or ex-living) animal or fauna. I've only seen one in recent years and it nearly made me sick!
