  1. Forgot to say We also tightened up our outgoing spam policy in O365, this has also stopped any warnings we were getting from the NCSC early warning system.
  2. My condolences We had this exact issue a few months ago, and I went through all the steps that it sounds like you have done. After about 5/6 weeks things started getting throughand it all now works as expected. During this 5/6 week period our workaround was to get affected users to use their school google accounts(we are predominantly MS, but have a google domain for some teachers). We set up automatic forwarding to their school O365 email, nobody came back to us with any issues after this. I am afraid you just have to be patient.
  3. A couple of our student office 365 email accounts have been compromised and sent ou in excess of 10000 emails each before Microsoft blocked the accounts, they then blocked our whole domain from sending emails. I resolved the issues with the rogue accounts and contacted Microsoft. After about an hour they unblocked our tenancy, and everything back to noirmal However we are now unable to send any emails to any gmail accounts, because google our rejecting everything from our domain as spam. Does anyone know how I can get this resolved with google, as their help doesn’t seem to be very helpful, and very much directed at single users.

  6. We had very similar to what you describe, and played around with different drivers and didn't come up with a workable solution. We then upgraded the firmware on the boards and have had no issues since. The option to upgrade the board is found within the activ board settings - very easy.

  8. I have an IPad 1 16Gb Wifi that is looking for a new owner. It belongs to my son-in-law, he got it as a present a couple of years ago, and only used it for a few months. It has always been in a case so has no marks or scratches. For all of you who think that Tesco are selling IPads for £49.99 --- if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. All reasonable offers will be considered. P&P included.
  9. I have been asked to buy 5 iPad 2’s with cases and VGA adapters. This sounds like a simple everyday task except as usual I need an invoice before 3pm tomorrow. Any suppliers out there that can help please PM me and I will give you an email address for quotes.
  10. Pencil shavings and hula hoops in a printer last week. NOT suprisingly it was in a staff workroom.
  11. Had the same problem here. Turned out that profiles writes temp files to users home folder, so those users who had reached their quota limit had a problem and SIMS just crashed. Don't know if this is your problem but could be worth investigating.

  16. Just watched an episode of Trigger Happy TV here in Lancashire. This is the first time we have got past the adverts! Thanks to all involved
  17. We are currently at 2.5:1 But unfortunately we will be in the control of BSF in 2 years time and they will provide us with a ratio of 5:1 This will be done at a cost of 1.5 million pounds (5 year contract) We could provide the new school with the original ratio of 2.5:1 for 900,000 pounds over the same period. Shame I was not allowed to tender for the contract!!!
  18. Write the code on a piece of paper, put it in a sealed envelope and lock it in the school safe. That should cover any eventuality. We have shared ours with the site manager, but only because we trust him and he does plenty of other stuff for us.
  19. You need to reinitialise the offline files cache. This is done on the offline files tab within folder options. You hold down SHIFT and CTRL and then click on delete. Be warned there is no method of recovery!! Make sure there are no un-synchronised files in the cache. Hope this helps
  20. I have a regular task of removing an aerial from a member of staff's car so that they can take it through the car wash.
  21. Leave all users as restricted users! Give users change permissions on the folder c:\program files\sims - and all its subdirectories Problem sorted.
  22. Does anyone have a copy of winINSTALL LE 2003 (the free version) that they can send me. Ours has gone belly up and I cant find the install file or remember where I got it from. Maybe a working URL would be better? Thanks
  23. We use LimitLogin. It was typical Microsoft to set up. i.e. jump through 26 hoops, have the right updates installed etc. But now it is on it is very easy to use, and has stopped password sharing for the kids, and leaving laptops logged in for the Staff. It just does what it says on the can :!:
