LosOjos Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Today I ordered a toilet cistern lever. http://www.diytools.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/4/image/400x400/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/a/d/adjustable-cistern-lever-arm.jpg Not sure if that's better or worse than a pair of springs though... I imagine you could have more fun with two springs...
Oaktech Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Today I ordered a toilet cistern lever. Not sure if that's better or worse than a pair of springs though... I imagine you could have more fun with two springs... give me a long enough lever and a place to rest it and i will move the world.
john Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Lets see many bits for a car including a small wiring harness, spare fuse, lighting gel, light bulb, paper clips, rubber seals for the holes in the spare wheel well of the golf i used to have, lots of random little weird bits but nothing as good as a couch spring!! We could do with some chair springs as my dad has ruined them as ever (he is a larger person) so they last about 10 years then they are through the chair and embedded into the floor under it....
elsiegee40 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I've ordered a flap for the fast freeze compartment of my freeer. And a rubber seal ring for my liquidiser
mthomas08 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 "Most mundane thing you ordered of the internet" Hmmm we ordered a MAC does that count Only joking
enjay Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Either a 10cm bit of piping for a vacuum cleaner, or a battery for a projector remote.
enjay Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 well i ordered that crate of pigs testicles last week.....pretty mundane i suppose Back in the day, I ordered some mouse balls after the kids nicked them from the computers. Is that the same sort of thing?

TechMonkey Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Shoelaces. Though if you were so inclined you could say they were exciting as they are supposedly indestructible!!
LosOjos Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Shoelaces. Though if you were so inclined you could say they were exciting as they are supposedly indestructible!! Have you tried to destroy them? I'd be too tempted...
TechMonkey Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Well I seem to destroy shoelaces (well bootlaces actually) at a fairly good speed & so far except for the aglets come off the are doing fine!
enjay Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Was that post simply so you could show off that you know the word "aglet"? :-)
