localzuk Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 So, I have spent most of my life drinking either cider or lager, and it has come to the time when I must stop drinking lager. So, what is your tipple of choice, if you drink?
featured_spectre Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 One more choice needed...Scotch Whiskey *edit* Whiskey on its own covers US Whiskey (which is actually bourbon) and Irish Whiskey (which is nice still )
localzuk Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 One more choice needed...Scotch I knew I'd miss one, but can't edit the poll. So, other it is for you then...
tech_guy Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Jack Daniels. And can I point out that Southern Comfort is a girlie drink and cider is for wimps. 1
localzuk Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 Jack Daniels. And can I point out that Southern Comfort is a girlie drink and cider is for wimps. I have a glass of JD in my hand right this very moment. First time I've drank it, and liking it muchly.
aerospacemango Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I'm currently drinking my tipple, wine, with my other half, in a lodge I'm the Cotswolds! Soon to enter the hot tub, for an hour or two!! Have a good saturday night, folks!!
6Foot2 Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Started with Cider for preference. Moved on to Guinness then Bitter. I found Bitter didn't agree with me in the Summer so I moved back to Cider [after a brief dalliance with Lager] Never touch shorts.
synaesthesia Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Generally real ales or bitters. Pale ale is my current favourite but things like Bishops Finger and Pedigree are my first choices Guilty pleasure is San Miguel
SYNACK Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Another missing option (that I can add if you want me to): Anything that can strip paint Seriously though I do tend to drink both Jack Daniels and if in a light drinking mood (more after a sweet lolly water kind of beverage that is not red bull) some Southern Comfort and Coke. Queue @tech_guy for some mocking but be careful, I'll hit you with my handbag :p
CESIL Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 What...I have to pick one! Mostly I drink whatever is on special offer...I am not a teacher you know...

SYNACK Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 C Southern Comfort is nothing but hair lacquer with a bag of sugar in it. Revolting stuff. It's still a step up from Woodstock which is hair lacquer without the sugar or standard Jim Beam which is the same but strained a little to remove the hair 1
elsiegee40 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Usually a glass of red wine, but am quite partial to the odd G&T too. I also enjoy a glass of port or cognac after a good meal. I drink very little these days. It's hard to justify opening a bottle when my husband's on the other side of the world!
speckytecky Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Needed to be list in order of choice! Whisky Rum Vodka Wine Cider Lager Ale Would be mine.
plexer Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Bottle conditioned or cask real ale. JD&Coke. English Whisky Co Peated Single Malt.
chrbb Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Cointreau with lots of ice, Martini with about two inches of lemonade if there's no cointreau.
Sarconia Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I'll have to go with a good old classic Gin & Tonic...
Little-Miss Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 You havent got Cherry Coke on there.... Vodka it is then!
