Have they got smaller??

Well it's that time of year again, and as usual, the debate rages strong.

 

Have Cadbury's Creame Eggs got smaller??

 

The official line from cadbury is 'no' but this is a debate that still flares its head each and every year, this year kicked off by my housemate who's just bounded in my room and asked that very question!

Not noticed anything myself and I am the worlds expert on creme eggs. I bought 48 of them from sainsburys a couple of weeks back... they were gone within 24 hours.

I'd like to say I ate them all myself, but unfortunately I didn't . They were shared between about 8 people. Admittedly I had the most though. The funniest bit about it was the look on the sainsburys till operators face when I bought this big box of creme eggs to the till. The box I took was one that was meant to be opened by the staff and people were supposed to take one or two, but they hadn't gotten around to opening them yet.

We rekon Picnic bars are a lot smaller than they used to be, mars bars have changed too, and someone had to bring up the fact you can't buy wispa bars any more

You can still get Dime bars and Highland Toffee too down here in the South.

Someone used to make a milk and plain chocolate bar - like a sandwich - but just chocolate, no caramel or anything. Does anyone remember it.

And as for Creme Eggs, and Mars Bars - they have got smaller but I still couldn't eat a whole one - Yuck!

Have given up chocolate for lent so this conversation is painful!

I once ate 4 cream eggs all at once for a dare.

 

Nearly puked, but managed to keep them all in my mouth - took a good 20 mins to finish them all.

Nope, they're not pulling your leg. Most of the ones you see round here are labelled as 'Daim' bars - not sure if they've actually been renamed though, or whether the shops are just selling imported bars, like the bottles of Coke you get in London tube station kiosks with Arabic writing on the labels :?
