Guest salan Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 yep. First radio I ever owned before getting my licence. Had many a 'belt off it' lol Alan
rad Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I wanted a VW Camper Bay, OH dad built one, i helped him, really enjoyed doing "boy" things assisting him, slept in it once, bed was too small and he drove it 40 miles on one tank, then had to fill it up. After one year sold it and is now looking to build another. So although I got to use one, dont want one now as they cost too much and are not reliable.

I think your OH Dad was a bit unlucky then by the sounds of it. My VW T2 Bay is awesome, had it six months now, never had a fault with it(other than those we knew about when we bought it) and we comfortably get 200 miles out of a tank of petrol. You're right that the bed isn't the best, but we use an awning attached to the side instead where there is more than ample room :-)

HarryMonkey Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I absolutely LOVED my MR2. Was gutted when I finally admitted that it wasn't really very practical. : (
Disaster Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Dont forget the rubbish (and often overpriced) christmas Jumper for the "Do". Well worth it if you can find the right one!
ButterflyMoon Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Would love an old Raleigh Moped all signs of my mispent youth had one and loved it great fun to ride round on lol

flyinghaggis Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Exclusive Frostmourne Letter opener http://eu.blizzard.com/store/_images/product?productId=221004417&type=3&loc=en-GB I have an overwhelming desire to buy one of these even though I'd never use it!
3s-gtech Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Noooooooooo making an MR2 look like an exotic spotscar is ridiculous! Waste of time, anyone in the know realises what it is, everyone else will stop letting you out at junctions. They're also impossible to sell. I have a totally standard GT-S (aside from some UK mods), much better pure Not practical though, as stated!
tech_guy Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I'm going to buy one of these for a friend who keeps complaining about the amount of fluff she finds in her bb: Belly Button Brush
Guest Guest Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Not practical though, as stated! Get away, most practical car ever, saves you from ever being a taxi/designated driver! Ive had a garden chair in my mr2. Roof off, chair on seat sticking out rather precariously, job jobbed!
DAZZD88 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 What would I waste money on, hm...? Shelby Cobra 427 (too much power for someone of my limited skills) '67 Shelby Mustang GT500 (everyone wants to recreate Gone in Sixty Seconds) Come to think of it, they're not really rubbish things. I suppose I'd like a good woman, to clean up after me and feed me.
3s-gtech Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 If I'm driving that thing, it's true. One sideways experience puts a huge grin on my face, and any passengers don't ask for a lift again!
