it must be a google data-centre .. they do stuff like this..

 

theres a lot of cable ties there.. fingers must hurt after doing all that..

being picky as I am I'd say you shouldn't use cable ties in case you damage the cable from over tightening or removing the cable tie. I use THESE now and they are great. I think the PatchSee light up leads are a good idea but a bit more pricey than a standard wire!

Very neat; but a mare if you need to change something, or fix it.

 

I'm convinced there are two types of install, the neat, and the workable, with very little in between.

I don't know .. when I came into post, the previous guy had left it not neat and not entirely workable .. and I'm still meaning to get round to relabling the thing .. lol ..

In my last job the NM always seemed to use 5m cables when .5m would have been more than long enough. You would have to wade through a multi-coloured "spaghetti screen" to get to the hubs (yes, I mean hubs!) and the telephone patching panels.
