dwhyte85 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 When I worked at Lego... they did an awful lot to combat wasps. They can't stop kids and adults dumping cans of coke in the bushes, they can clear them out but from experience of cleaning (one of the many fun tasks whilst working at Lego...) it's a constant battle. Then again, people pay money and they expect the best service, it's unfair to complain about nature though :-P

Totally agree that people whine far to much and need to get over it. However, Ants, Sparrows & Ladybirds don't tend to fly at you and sting you, so perhaps a slight difference in this case, not to mention those who are anaphylactic.

I remember they did a piece about rubbish hand brakes on Vauxhall cars, they were going on about how something had to be done before someone was killed. But then didn't even mention once that if you don't want your car to roll away you should leave it in gear.

Lordy, that takes me back - white lightning. Back many many many years ago on my 21st I remember drinking quite a large amount of that. I was then stripped naked by my mates, put in a boat and pushed out on the river thames. The Thames Valley Police had to rescue me....... I blame the white lightning. Wasp bites can kill and it doesn't take much to put a notice on a website to let people know before they travel all the way to Windsor. As someone who is petrified of wasps I would not be happy paying to enter a theme park that is full of them. Legoland could be doing more to resolve the problem, the Watchdog pest control guy found 2-3 bests in 15 minutes, but Legoland's own pest control person didn't spot them despite working there everyday...

Completely agree. Why shouldn't they complain? You can't tell me the problem they had there is normal and something you expect. I don't think it was made out to be worse than it is or anything. How do you falsify the undercover footage they had?
