I thought we all have a ticket as tax payers are actually paying for this ? Around 14 million pounds this is going to cost apparently - I am wondering how those who are losing their jobs because of the cuts feel that the government are happy to pay towards this......? Since the Pope is a Head of State I don't think there is any difference to what we are expected to pay for a visit from Sarkozy or Obama. In some cases the costs to us are even higher I suspect!

I've made a genuine request for any spare tickets as I really want to go and see the Pope - I mean I've been out and bought a special outfit and everything.

Not many "states" that have 0 native population and are 100% religious. Still hopefully he'll breakout his lighting bolts and look even more evil.
