Fuzzz Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Between a clean-shave and a 3/4/5 day stubble... I hate to shave...
EduTech Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Clean Shaven for me I struggle to do that good! so i am shafted when it comes to keeping any other way tidy lol
leco Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 erm is this a gender issue? Is the fact that I don't have facial hair why people don't take me for a "real" geek? Is that a good or bad thing? But then I'm forgetting that females can't possibly be geeks can they? 2

leco Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 There are plenty of bearded ladies around!! Ah yes - but are they all geeks because of it?

synaesthesia Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Between clean shaven and 3 days here - anything more is pointless otherwise i'd need to shave twice a day to stay properly "clean shaven" :|
SYNACK Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Beard and long hair for me http://www.freewebby.com/smiley-face/smiley-face-beard.jpg
garethEds Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Depends when it is - however I always shave the night before work so that I don't have to get up earlier than normal to get to work. During the holidays I tend to let it grow for a while so that my skin has time to repair itself. Here's one for the men - how many of you moisturise or use after shave balm? I'll admit to using Loreal for Men morning and evening. :-) GJE

mjs_mjs Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Had a shave this morning and need to again now if I wanted to be non stubbly. Generally I let it grow until it itches so much I have to shave. I don't really like shaving. I've had to wet shave since was 14, before that it was a year of electric shaving (I hate them) the tash. If it doesn't itch me to hell the only other reason I have for shaving is the GF. Otherwise I'll let it grow (like my hair hair) 8" long now - I actually have to brush it daily.
Andrew_C Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I've had my beard longer than many of the other members here have been alive, this summer it will be 28 years old.
6Foot2 Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I voted 'Beard' although strictly it should be 'Beard and Moustache' [same as far as this poll goes I guess?] So it is beard and quite hairy until the wife feels like she wants another go with the clippers then there is hardly anything left and it starts all over again.
Mr.Ben Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Depends on the time of year, what's happening next week and what I'm told! I spent all of last summer growing a beard (5 weeks), but it seems that I can no longer do it...this was my attempt...
maniac Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I would grow a beard, except it comes out ginger, bright ginger at that. Not that there's anything wrong with it really, just stands out a little too much. It does get a bit long in the holidays mind when I really can't be bothered to shave in the mornings.
russdev Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 clean shaven but often designer stubble by end of the day. As previous post I get told by both other half and 3 year old says "go have a shave" including pointing with hand to make well the point.. Russ
Batman Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I've had my beard longer than many of the other members here have been alive, this summer it will be 28 years old. Wow... it's almost as old as me. I'm seriously impressed! Do you trim it? I wish my wife would tolerate no trimming, but she doesn't like it, otherwise I'd give the gandalf style beard a shot, you know? Incidentally, the bearded lady comment reminded me of a wonderful scene from blackadder... "I've heard of the Bearded Lady, but the All Over Body Hair Lady simply just isn't on." hehehe....

tech_guy Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 I can't stand the BlackAdder shows - completely unfunny.
Batman Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Never did like Black Adder - must be a man thing What, you mean only real men like it?
synaesthesia Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Great shows Even was a fan of the first series which most people don't. Very Peter Cook And just to show that Blackadder as a TV series was happy with either genders, Nursery's first name was Bernard She probably had to shave.
