tech_guy Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 You go West. You enter a room. There is a bookcase. There is a desk. There is a chair. You say to Gandalf:

RabbieBurns Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 off topic, but how do you get the date to display with the time in the taskbar ?
Ex-MGSTech Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 why not try bumptop desktop and have a real 3D desktop? BumpTop 3D desktop enhancement: Organize, customize, be productive Steve 1

somabc Posted March 23, 2010 Author Posted March 23, 2010 off topic, but how do you get the date to display with the time in the taskbar ? Is that not the default in Windows 7?
RabbieBurns Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Ive only got the time, on this laptop and on my desktop at work..
Pete10141748 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Ooooh definately going to check out the bumptop 3D desktop thing!
featured_spectre Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 bumptop is a serious resource hog, my photoshop CS3 lagged out like crazy when that was installed. I checked and it pulled near 1GB of ram to run it! Attached is my desktop
Pete10141748 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 1Gb RAM to run it?? Ouch. Maybe I'll test it out on my home kit then and not my work PC lol
featured_spectre Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 If I remember rightly, it pulled 946,067k in Memory (Private Working Set). It would be fantastic if it wasn't such a resource hog!
Pete10141748 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 love it love it love it! *steals for own use*
featured_spectre Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 already stolen!! and its done! Not sure why the white space to the right but hey ho!
jamesb Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 If I remember rightly, it pulled 946,067k in Memory (Private Working Set). It would be fantastic if it wasn't such a resource hog! I'm not sure if you're using an older version, but it only pulls down about 2-400k on my laptop. I would recommend that anyone wanting to use it gets a touchscreen as well though, that's when it really makes a difference.
