I used these a few years back and had a nightmare. Don't even use them for warranty and we have still got 2 years left. I use PC Specialist now.

I bought 5 machines from them from a recommendation of another member on here who is at a local school.

After seeing them in action and the 5 year warranties I felt it was worth a punt - no issues up to now since september so no complaints.

I have got just over 100 machines from them and have not had any problems bar a couple of power supply failures - which they sent out next day and give you the option to install yourself if your capable and if not or you don't want to they will send an engineer. The price is usually extremely competitive although the last lot of PC's I had came from Stone Computers as they actually managed to beat the Millennium price.

I agree that the 5 year warranty seems a little ambitious but it seems to have been fine for the two years that I have used them so far.

We buy all of our workstations from them - the value and service is fantastic. We've been using them under their previous names for over 5 years too - remained loyal to them despite others slagging them off, and it's paid off. Lower-cost workstations and better service than we've had from other suppliers.

Had a quote from them before the summer as well, the PC prices were very competitive but they couldn't get monitors anywhere near the price of others. Certainly a real company, though.

5 year warranty isn't necessarily that ambitious - all the companies I got quotes from this year, I got with a 5 year warranty - Stone, Novatech, Zoostorm (via BT Business), whichever supplier CPLTD used (who also covered the monitor, which was good). Given that some of the kit I was replacing was often older than that students using it (in a secondary), don't underestimate the life span of a machine. Particularly new Core iX machines, the cooler they run the longer they should last.

I to tally agree with webman on this, they did however have a bad rep for IWB and AV installations at one time but this has been rectified since, this was down to the poor management of this part of the business but as for the computer side I have not found better after sales service and such good quality equipment anywhere for the price.

I would not easily give my advise without experiencing a product but I am really pleased with Millenium business and the relationship we have with them.

I agree with the price of the TFTs but we buy the Neovo hard-glass units and we have found these to be worth every penny of the price and Neovo support is every bit as good.

My advise is give them a try with a couple of units and see how you go and make your own judgment based on this. We have the entire school ICT based on their computers and this gives us the maximum output for the least financial input on a rolling 5 year replacement strategy.

All I can say is excellent service Millenium thanks. :)

They used to trade under a different name and they were a complete and utter shambles. I personally wouldn’t give them the time of day.

Just out of interest, what was their previous name?
