If you're using it a lot when you should be working, or poking people rather than picking up the phone and calling them, the problem lies with you, not the site. Blaming FB for the fact that you use it in work is like blaming Vauxhall for your speeding ticket.

witch Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Thanks for this thread, mattx - it made me think a bit and although I haven't deleted my facebook account (see: 'finding out what children are doing' above), I have reviewed my settings and locked it all down a lot tighter. That, plus having a very common name, should help keep me anonymous!

Haven't deleted mine entirely, but got rid of a lot of people. I'm keeping it because I do like a game of Scrabble with a couple of people.

It's a few months for me now - don't miss it at all - still get the odd phone call from people asking why but that's about it.
