Nor is mine. In fact it seems to be way out of date. Is this correct?

Heebee: that's probably the build date of your original ISO. No reason the updates shouldn't be there though.

Not seeing update here either Will give support a ring in a while, currently working (for the second day) on a work around for Server 2008 SP2 not talking to Samba for printing :/

Good to see all the excitement over FP3 and the flash filtering but unfortunately the FP3 is not released yet.

ours updated fine, restarted and all is well as far as the update goes.

 

Just two questions how do you enable Egress Monitoring and does this tell us if someone posts something to a facebook wall thats contains swear words,

 

2. since migrating to a different server the ip address no longer shows up under user activity when checking who is logged in.

My GFI updates have stopped after the update

OK - I had better explain what's going on.

The patches were released yesterday, but were quickly pulled when a strange error message was reported. It is believed that error was caused by external factors - but we have to be absolutely certain.

 

If you are waiting for FP3: Sorry - it'll be at least a couple of hours - depends how quickly our guys can determine the source of the error, it could be somewhat longer if the error is "real". I will update you.

 

If you have installed: Don't worry. It is extremely likely, given the rigorous testing FP3 has already been through that your copy is fine - however if you see anything odd please call support. If for some reason we do end up releasing a changed version, we will ensure you are brought up to date.

 

I am happy to answer any and all questions either here, by phone, or by email.

I mentioned earlier that I did get a error message when I tried updating on one of the updates but when I rebooted at about 8 last night their were no updates listed available so I am not sure if it went on okay.

 

I have up to Main Update:14 and 13 listed.

 

I can't find the Egress monitoring or the flash filtering so wondered if it hasn't updated correctly.

moggy: if you are seeing no issues, don't worry.

 

 

Update: It looks like the patch will be rereleased "as is" - a bit of new verbose logging caused warning bells to ring. This will be today, subject to us clearing up any reports of "oddness" - so if you downloaded it, and you have any queries: CALL ME

Should it show as guardian : Update 16?

Guardian u16 is part of it, yes... FP3 comes in bits - what updates you get depend on the modules you have installed - though the lion's share this time is in Guardian u16.
