XBox 360 and projector

Purchasing an Xbox360 and the Beatles stuff for the music department (yeh I know). But just wondering what I need to connect it to the projector and PC.

Projector - the 360 has a wealth of outputs, you could use the component cable -> projector if support, or VGA cable or even HDMI if your projector is snazzy.

 

PC - What exactly do you want the 360 connected to the PC for?

One of them, You would need to split it if you wanted it into the pc aswell, as above what for though? you can record the video input from the xbox through the pc but the lag between the xbox sending it and the pc processing it makes them unplayable really.

you can buy a usb to composite kit off ebay for about £10... you can run the xbox through the computer and that way you only need the origional input of the computer... you dont need to change anything.... also the software the usb kit comes with alows you to record and justify the image accordingly...

 

Would prob just use a xbox to vga cable though...

To connect the Xbox360 to a projector all you will require is:

If you have the option for HDMI i would look at that option also

 

if the projector is mounted, then just plug the VGA into a Splitter and away you go

I'm guessing for Guitar Hero or similar. It's a lot of fun, but I'm rubbish. I still play on medium! You should see some of the top Japanese gamers on youtube!

Fair enough. Games consoles seem to be the "in" thing at the moment, the head of ICT at our school has bought a Wii. The Network Manager and myself installed it in one of the ICT suites yesterday
