[android tablet] Recommend me an Android Tablet
neon replied to enjay's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
have you looked at the kogan agora? I bought it about a month ago as I couldnt warrent spending the money on an ipad or galaxy tab, its not the greatest of tablets but still has a capacitive touchscreen and access to market, expandable memory up to 32gb not bad for the £80 I paid for it? worth a look but I would have to agree with cheap tablets not being that good. If your going to use it for any decent length of time I would splash out a bit more... If you want any more info on the agora let me know... 7" Tablet PC with Capacitive Touchscreen: Powered by Android - Buy your Android Tablet PC from Kogan -
Morning all, have just bought a Kogan angora tablet running android with access to the market. Ive downloaded a few apps and all is good! I am very impressed with the performance for money! (bought off ebay for less than £80!) Just a quick one really and wondered if anyone had an thoughts on "must have" apps for android? If any one wants any info on the angora please message me and ill do my best... so far I can say it is impressive, only things that lets it down is below average battery life, below average screen but still good enough for primary and with its access to the market it should stay relevant for a little while!

Quite new to this whole imaging lark, have managed to image a load of dell pc's that we have in school, I have now made a image of the acer laptops we have and uploaded the image to windows server 2008 fine, the whole process seems to be working fine until after the expansion of the windows files and the machine reboots, I get a message saying windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem? Anyone any clues on what I have done wrong? I have copied the exact same process as I did for dells? only difference is I have to change the laptops into ide mode before the instal i think? Any help greatly apreciated... Steve

Welcome back guys, Just wondering if someone can help me out, I am currently using a xcopy script as a way to back up teachers laptops, this works well however there is one problem, when a teacher deletes a file the file stays in the back up folder? Is there any way of cloning a folder exactly as it appears at c:/documents and settings\user\desktop? Thanks for any help, hope everyone is ok and glad to back

on a similar scheme here, lnl printers for schools, currently have 2 5650's and have no problems at all, toner is a little bit pricey but covers 3 year warrenty, after which you can choose to renew your contract (select new printers) also includes cost of imaging units (dispatched on proof of life being below 10%) and technical support always at the end of the phone... cant complain, only thing you have to be careful of is that the prices they quote are NOT fixed, we had some 5230dl's and ended up buying out of the contract and starting fresh as the price of the toner went up so much! Not always the companies fault however... Hope this helps.
