I am curious to learn more about who the members respect and look up to in the IT industry. It could even be an idol who is a fellow Edu Geek member, or someone famous in the media many of us will know........

ahuxham Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Don't really have an idle to be honest, but what I do owe all my IT enthusiasm and drive to, is Windows 3.1. Growing up as a teenager, all I did was mess around with it, break it and fix it, that was the start of my draw toward IT. Almost 24 and getting tired of the tediousness of IT to be honest, and the negative attitudes from various users in any organisation. I guess big names deserve a mention, from nothing to everything; Linus Torvald, Larry Page, Sergey Brin thats about it to be honest.

I mostly admired the way he has came from nothing, being adopted trying to find his family at a young age.
