who is your IT idol?

hello EduGeekers I would like to start a discussion on who your technology idols are and a few reasons why? I am curious to learn more about who the members respect and look up to in the IT industry. It could even be an idol who is a fellow Edu Geek member, or someone famous in the media many of us will know........

Don't really have an idle to be honest, but what I do owe all my IT enthusiasm and drive to, is Windows 3.1. Growing up as a teenager, all I did was mess around with it, break it and fix it, that was the start of my draw toward IT. Almost 24 and getting tired of the tediousness of IT to be honest, and the negative attitudes from various users in any organisation.

 

I guess big names deserve a mention, from nothing to everything; Linus Torvald, Larry Page, Sergey Brin thats about it to be honest.

ok, well some of you might already know -recently read a few on Steve Jobs. I mostly admired the way he has came from nothing, being adopted trying to find his family at a young age. I believe having those unanswered questions in his mind has propelled him to become who he is today Apples CEO
