laserblazer Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Just gone very dark and raining hard here. No sign of lightening yet. Our school fayre starts at 4pm!
elsiegee40 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Thunderstorm started at 5am in West Kent and had stopped by 6.30am The sun came out mid-morning, but it's very humid and dark now... we're in a flap too. We're supposed to be having a "Street Party" to celebrate the school's 90th anniversary this afternoon and have a massive reunion tomorrow afternoon!
localzuk Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Just wet and rainy here. Had thunder and lightning from around 6pm until 2am last night here.
Hightower Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 24 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. Only joking, but had you all jealous for a minute didn't I? Rainy/Windy here.
Fuzzz Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 23 degrees and cloudy at the moment... The last couple of days we had great wether in NL
DaveJ2717uk Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 23 degrees not a cloud in the sky and breezy - generally a lovely day:)
Psymon Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Storm just passed over as South-East Kent (Dover) just spitting now. Had a couple of really loud strikes
ButterflyMoon Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Lashing rain and very humid. But at least no wind so am going out with the dog for a walk when I finish at 1.30 (inset day) lol
featured_spectre Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Lightning storm here, has been since 10AM. Got minimal electrical systems running. My office PC and Server are the only 2 physically wired machines left on in the school (and the lights and such).
witch Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Just wet and rainy here. Had thunder and lightning from around 6pm until 2am last night here. It was quite a big storm here with some stunning lightening and thunder. It is a bit grey and dampish here now but clearing up which is good - summer fayre at 6pm!
jamin100 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 It looks like were just about to have a big storm here. Our fayre starts in an hour ! Glad i'm not involved and working on CMIS !
DaveJ2717uk Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Just checked the BBC looks like the weather you all seem to have is heading our way:( as long as it gets here after 4pm I don't care, otherwise a wet bus ride home awaits me booooooo
maniac Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Canterbury just had some very heavy rain, but we seemed to miss out on the thunder and lighting. Now it's horribly humid and I can't concentrate on anything as the office is like an oven! Might go and sit in the server room for a bit
skunk Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 South Cumbria: sunny, nice breeze, mid 20s, little fluffy clouds.....bootiful
wesleyw Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Dark clouds but no rain as yet. Only 90 years old hope the building is newer? Wes

rolfea Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 had a thunder storm early.. seemed to have cleared up now
elsiegee40 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Well in West Kent we've avoided storms this afternoon and our playground based "Street Party" was dry... it's really humid and oppressive at the moment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow now!
