I think the way she has dealt with her situation, being bold and vocal about her cancer and campaigning for the age of screening women from 25 down to 18/20 is inspirational. Even if it only saves one life - then it's been worth it! Many people may have IQ's of 523billion trillion, but only a special person can do what she has done and i think you should THANK her - she might have encouraged one of your loved one's to get a scan/get results etc.. and saved their life. You need to stop criticising her for her IQ/talent and start thinking about what she has actually achieved. 1

At what point did I say she was inferior to me? I never made claim of that, nor did I make claim that I was super fantastic. But to answer your question, she is successful (if you can call it that) because she has no dignity. She'll do anything for a quick buck. I, on the other hand, would not trade all the money in the world for the media exposure Jade Goody has brought on herself. It is simply not worth it in my eyes, especially to anyone who has half a welly full of self-respect. 1

What has she actually achieved Mandy? Do you have stats that say scans are up? Are more people being diagnosed early? As far as I know she's has achieved nothing, apart from providing her children with a big cheque - and in years to come they'll probably be in the spotlight, just like Mummy. NO!Jade goody was not being racist towards SS, this again is political correctness gone mad. There has been loads of clashes of personalites in past bb but none have ever caused this kind of outrage.The reasons being is that SS is a huge bollywood star and has a massive following in the indian community in this country and that community cried racism almost immediately. Why is this not just seen as two people who do not like each other as has happened with many previous bb housemates??? 2

The media should be held accountable for some of this scandalous so-called journalism. Yes, highlight the cervical cancer screening, but not the sad demise of a human being, no matter what peoples opinions are of her! 1

At present I would bet that very very few people are aware she is dying of nothing more than cancer. This seems to me to be just publicity for the sake of money. Im sure there will be pleanty of appeals and charitable donations made in her name after her death. She is simply the victim making the most of what she has left to provide for her childrens futures, the only way she can now. Still, my thoughts are with her and her family, do one should die so young. 2

Before Jade was diagnosed, the total number of pages viewed daily in our cervical cancer section was around 2,000 to 3,000. On the day of the news last year this jumped to over 32,000. Since then the daily visits have continued to be around two to three times higher than before her diagnosis was made public. Our Information Nurses phone line has also had an increase in callers asking for information about cervical cancer. And in response to Jade being back in the news this week, we’ve seen the number of cervical cancer pages viewed increase to around 20,000.
