I like the idea of a mods table - power, POWER!!!!

 

how about a section for primary schools - remembering that we are often behind you senior school lot - for example, VLEs are just coming onto the radar in a lot of cases and perhaps we could do with some advice on which to choose, and what to do with it when we have it!

 

But Chorley is a long long way away and 'less than £100' is still a lot of money.

So, anyone from down this way or at least a bit closer (Reading? London?) driving up and wants to share the costs?

I heartily second this and it makes it much more viable and useful for me [vanity]which is of course plenty of reason to do it[/vanity]

Definitely useful... examples of what to look out for, and even a workshop where us primary types could get together and perhaps pool our resources?

I *may* be able to get someone from Dell to bring a load of kit to demonstrate Dells solution for using VMWare and their SAN devices if people would be interested.

I'd love to come, so will ask my boss when I see her next (she's on a 2 day course...) but I won't be surprised if I get a big 'no'... It's a 5 hour journey for me, by bus/train, so it is unlikely.

Chorleys fine its a really nice place to be for a conference and the centre is really good as well as the company Just feel for poor ZH coming all that way from Aberdeen he's prob 5hrs from Chorley if not a bit more

Chorley was good last time. The drinks afterwards were good too...just the sitting in the gutter that was not. Considering I very nearly got left in a chippy in the middle of Preston I'll be taking it a bit slower this time round!

Oh and did I say that Vik was paying for all the Mods and Admins to fly out 1st Class and providing 5* accommodation for us and paying for supply staff to cover our roles for the 4 week long conference that it has become. All King Vik

If the economy continues down the plughole the way it is, i'll be minted on the exchange rate.

Not sure about the accomodation, you might have to share rooms. Plus the women will all have to marry one of the other attendees to get visas, so form an orderly queue and start pairing off.
