Yea, this episode was weak, two or three reasonable jokes and the rest of it was just slapstick junk. You practically have to look away because it was so transparent and unintelligent. You could see why they lead with the other two eps though, they would have lost a good half of their audience screening that one first up. May as well have been a Mr Bean rerun. Euck!

Most of the old episodes at least had a nice contigous and humerous subtext running through them, ones that involved a little more thought than 'Oh no, I lost my shirt'.

Another thing, why the hell do they have 17" moniters. They run the IT department in a company, surely they can find something a little better/bigger than 17" LCDs.

I loved it when Moss "rebooted" and his eyes opened in sync to the the Windows XP logon tune.

that was the only bit that was in the least bit funny, IMHO

Yes, another mediocre episode with only a few genuine laughs. I have nothing against Katherine but her little dialogues in episodes are usually empty and worthless. The thing with Reynholm and the pants - just... WTF? :(

Last week's episode when they were at the football was better - Moss' commentary on the match is spookily similar to mine :p

is it just me who has never found this show funny?

There are of course parts which make me laugh but i'm not a huge fan.

The canned laughter is awfull as well, they should have made it more like 'The Smoking Room' or dare i say it, the office. :getmecoat: Just my opinion :D

when he runs into the room with 2 cups of coffee ( one empty ) and he chucks the wrong one at that irish guy and he is like haha fooled you that was the empty one and then after a minute realises and is like ah cr4p and turns around and runs into the door.

Although it wasnt really related much to how IT is there were some funny parts - but I do agree after that original boss guy commited suicide in the first season and his son took over it went down hill a lot.

Dunno if anyone else knows, but that guy is Chris Morris. He's the genius behind bluejam, jam, Brasseye, The Day Today and Nathan Barley (Co-written with Charlie Brooker).

If you've never seen the above shows you're missing out on life. :)

Oh and that IT Crowd Parody is awesome, hehe.

Agreed. Morris is a legend :D

As for the IT Crowd, I had missed the episode before, so while the recap seemed a bit weird, I assumed it was just what Id missed in the last one lol

It is very hit and miss though. Couple of superb episodes in the 2nd series but the rest are fairly poor
