As I understand it, remastered episodes will be shown (except those that were omitted from the remastering process – these will be shown in their original standard definition quality)

I bought the run on Apple TV for £25 about a year ago. The HD/4K transfers are nice; I just wish they would remaster the CGI too.

It still holds up, and despite the CGI being old the space scenes are amazingly detailed. Quite honestly, I think all they need to do is increase the texture detail and maybe up the polygon count a little, and it'd look modern again. And the parallels to what's going on today are... scary.

Yeah, it remains gorgeous and the jump in cgi quality from season 1 to 2 is huge.

And as for JMS' ability to predict the future.  It's uncanny right now.  But that would be politics, and that's not for here.

Is it even predicting the future or is it just the same old nonsense with different faces?

It turns out that Warners still care about the copyright for B5?

They very much do. They've been trying to shop JMS' reboot pilot script for 18 months now after buying it back from the CW during its sale.

They also made that rather excellent Animated film, The Road Home which has set up the potential for new stories with the original cast.

Amazingly they aren't bothered about policing the property on ebay as i make a tidy side income selling 3d prints of all the ships from the show!

Now showing all season on Prime for free (if you are a prime member)  OK the FX look dated but the story arch is still good, up to season 4

My Prime is only showing Season 1 free, the rest paid for, but I do own the entire DVD Boxset, and I am never giving that up.

I don't know if it's always been there or if they've just got the rights but Prime seems to have a lot of older cult TV shows like Lexx, U.N.C.L.E., The Bionic Woman and more.

One thing I give Babylon 5 the credit for, it works well in the Binging TV Age, while still not feeling like a major drag like some other shows of the time can be, but also does not really suffer with the unnecessary cliff-hangers a lot of modern shows seem to have
