Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Does anyone have any recommendations for a Wireless Keyboard and mouse, which work at a range larger than 2m?

get one that uses bluetooth, they should reach up to 10 m increased cost though but it'll sort your prob out!

logitech do a good range of them

I dont know about a keyboard but I can highly recommend the Logitech MX 1000 It sits in the cradle to recharge and the battery life is typically 3 weeks or so and as for range I have tested it in the next room and it works fine

We use the Gyration keyboards and mice - they worked the length of our largest classroom and you can use the mouse in the air. Apparently it's all in the wrist action...

I got a couple of (very) cheap M$ wireless keyboard and mouse but their range is crap, even with the reciever on the top of the tower in direct line of sight.

 

Great keyboard and mouse though despite it all.

i would recommend a bluetooth kb and mouse, purely for battery life and range. I used to have a logitech DiNovo but i think thats overkill for a school. Im currently on an apple bluetooth kb and mouse and ive only changed the batteries in the mouse once since i bought it in october, the kb is on the original set.

My home system has a Logitech MX3100 cordless desktop. The MX1000 mouse is ACE (it has a laser) but the keyboard isn't all that.

 

Range is definately more than 2m too.

 

The Gyration stuff is good too but you pay the price (although admittedly the MX1000 mouse is £40). Gyration equipment is designed for presenting from a distance too.

I used the Gyration stuff for my Car PC and it worked really well with a great range...that was until the PC met a sad end....

Another vote for gyration here it's about £80 for the keyboard and mouse.
