To stop the kids changing the wallpaper you cant just set the policy to stop them changing it, you also have to assign a wallpaper otherwise it does not work.

Its not usually good practice to use a dynamic host on a server for a myriad of reasons, it sounds like you may have missed the default gateway when assigning a static IP to the server, or as Dos_Box suggested, DNS isnt configured to play nice with <2000 boxes.

Hrmm i took my 210 215 and 218 without picking up a book and scored over 800 on each, the 216 was a 5 day course and i scored 831... Ive got 217,219 and 224 to do now, and doing the 228 for completeness. Ill upgrade to 2003 then so 2 more exams then pass out in a corner somewhere.

Copyright infringement! EduGeek is the first point of call for me when looking for answers to a wide range of questions. It is also a community, a great one at that. I no longer work in the education industry but found it impossible to leave, hence why i still loiter around the forums

I used loopback at the last place to apply per room printers to users and i must admit, it was a pain when it broke but generally it was fine.

Take a look at Fink for a mac equiv of apt-get for packages ported to mac

I vote for the LiDE 25s too, ive used several, the best bit was i used a driver pack that allowed me to preinstall the scanner so it could be used on any comp in the school by anyone, pair that up with front mounted USB ports and no external PSU needed and it became very attractive. You could buy about 6 for £200 too probably.
