cookie_monster Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 I'm trying to get a Wii Fit for a friends birthday but can't get one anywhere. Anyone know of somewhere that has them in stock? Cheers.
RabbieBurns Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 argos. Had to try 6 of them till I found it in stock and the website only lets you check 2 stores at a time, but found a shop not too far away that had them
russdev Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 When go into game store ask at counter as they sometimes have some behind do the got money just need to find some in stock routine.. Russ
richard.thomas Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I second Argos. Was there the other day and saw someone getting a Wii Fit
mac_shinobi Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Get a list of places that does do them ie dixons, currys, game, etc and call around and ask. Short of that there is always ebay ?
SteveB_NI Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Completely unhelpful but I'm addicted to Wii Fit I don't think it weighs you too accurately, but some of the activities are actually fun in a warped sense!
PeterW Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I have seen eu import stock but at £99+ vat I would give your friend an "IOU a Wii Fit"
cookie_monster Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 Hmmm don't fancy paying £99. I have already tried searching the nearest 10 Argos and rang a couple of Curries but no one seems to have any stock. An IOU might be the best way.
sidewinder Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Id do them a favour and get them something else! The thing is a gimmick..very cool I admit but quickly becomes boring The ridiculous hype over it is totally unjustified. Shouldnt complain tho, bought one on release day for £65, sold it a month or so later for £90
PeterW Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 The thing is a gimmick So you wont be buying the new rayman rabbids game then?
cookie_monster Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 Id do them a favour and get them something else! but how will they exercise then?
sidewinder Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 So you wont be buying the new rayman rabbids game then? ermm..no? Anyway, yes a lot of Wii games are gimmicks but only Wii Fit makes you shell out another £70 for the priviledge
PeterW Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Wii Fit makes you shell out another £70 for the priviledge Guitar Hero is about £50!
davyboi Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 got one from asda a about a week ago, you have to ask at the counter though as they wernt advertised, they had about 4 in stock at my local asda

DSapseid Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Nope all gone now!! 6 gone in a a few hours!! I got mine from Sainsburys 2 weeks ago.
Hightower Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Planning on going away any time soon? I just came back from Corfu and they had a stack of the things in Duty Free.
ninjabeaver Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Wii Fit in stock checker - £69.99 I used this website. Leave it running in the background, and as soon as one is in stock anywhere it opens an alert window for you. I got my Wii Fit from Amazon using this.
thesk8rjesus Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 We've just started a Wii fit club within the school, and have just bought 15 wiis and 15 wii fits for about £192 for the console and fit, we went to the wholesaler and you get it cheaper as its a school, the webby is Koch Media phone them and set up a school account for really cheap nintendo gear!
