Another option for you to look at, which we suffer from is if you have Windows Hello enabled on the users and for us it's waiting for the user to finish that process first before InTune will finish correctly. We have to advise our users to press continue anyway, and then once windows is all happy it opens that screen back up.

EXA and Chromebooks Google Play Store
thesk8rjesus replied to thesk8rjesus's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Yeah, this is something I have looked at and we were able to get the images unblocked, but then it got to unblocking the downloads and EXA said that they would need to turn off Google keyword filtering before being able to allow it. -
I don't know if anyone else has come up against this issue yet. We have Chromebooks that have the capability to install android apps, and as such we have pushed out some from the Admin console. The problem is that the Chromebooks will not connect to the play store at all. If we put the Chromebooks on a wireless that has un-filtered access it works fine and the apps download. We spoke with EXA about it and they have said they can't unblock it without unblocking all keyword filtering on Google, which is not something we are willing to do. Has anyone come up against the same problem?

I am absolutely fed up now with the poor (if not non-existent) level of support from Tucasi, and need a replacement. At the moment we use the following modules Communications Dinner Money Extended Day Income Banking Trips and Events and I want to get something that matches this level of functionality.

What about a chrome book? As most of the things you have said can be web based it should be perfect and at a low price. -

Hi Guys, Just tried updating our poweredge server adding new RAM and a quad NIC card, after getting everything and putting back in the cabinet we plugged it in and nothing worked, changed the PSUs and it started up, changed them back and nothing again. If anyone has two PSUs that don't want could you let me know as we'd like to get some soon. Cheers in advanced

Need to re-initialise WSUS on each PC
thesk8rjesus replied to TechSupp's topic in How do you do....it?
You could always create a batch file that looks at a CSV and pulls the names of each machine and then using psexec run the batch file all from one location just set it going come back later -
Vanilla Network from Scratch
thesk8rjesus replied to dcwhitworth's topic in Network and Classroom Management
SCCM 2012 is really good for building computers and deploying software remotely. It also deploys antivirus as a standard. If you have a EES desktop agreement then its included in it. -
Defiantly Komposer for starters then notepad++ once they've understood a bit more

[sccm 2012] Copy file to windows\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds
thesk8rjesus replied to localzuk's topic in O/S Deployment
With this sort of thing I tend to create a package with no software just point it to the network path. Then in the task sequence add a command line item with the assigned package, and in the command line just put the name of the script. If it goes off to a network location in the script you will need to run the command line as specified user. This works for me -
