Weird one - a few of our Yealink phones which are set up like this are showing the wrong time. An hour too fast (as in the daylight savings time has already kicked in?) Date is correct on the phones affected. Only way I can resolve is by disabling Daylight Saving Time, not ideal though as I'll need to re-enable on the affected phones come next week.

Anyone got any ideas as to why this would be happening? Time zone/Language on 3CX Management page is set to UK (London). All of our phones are set up this way

We have the same problem here. The phone engineer said it was something to do with this specific date clashed with the configuration, though I'm not sure how.

For the time being I've made the change on the phones of people are likely to notice, and left it until it sorts itself out next week!

Thanks both. Glad its not just me then! I'll do the same, i've manually sorted a few which I think will notice lol. Will have to remember to revert back to DST next week

Seems to be an issue with the DST by week as by default it’ll use the 4th Sunday where now this month has 5 Sundays (according to 3cx forums)

Looks like it’s either temporary fix by changing time zones or changing the provisioning templates and just restarting phones for now

Config of the phones is set to change to DST on the 4th Sunday of March, however this year and 2025 and 2026 it will be the 5th Sunday of the month the clocks change

Same here. Was told by our supplier that it's a firmware issue with Yealink - asked if we could live with it this week where it'll sort itself out on Sunday.

It seems to be a bug with the latest yealink firmware. We had only updated a 1/4 of our phones and the ones with older firmware's aren't affected.

You can also disable the DST at the phone by choosing "Menu > 3. Settings > 1. Basic Settings > 2. Time & Date > 1. SNTP Settings > 4. Daylight Saving" (Menu, 3 1 2 1 4) and setting that to disabled.

This puts it back to normal, but would have to be repeated next week, or the phones rebooted again.

Would seem not - again, teachers bringing to my attention to the time on all the phones being incorrect again for this week.   It's not like they've had a year to fix it now is it..... oh wait.....

Yes they never intended to fix it I don't think. Hey it won't be a problem after next week until 2029 and then 2032 so by then 3CX/Yealink might push out an update lol

From the 3cx forums - "The issue is resolved by updating the firmware to 96.86.0.118 and then to 96.87.0.16 and performing a factory reset of the phone. The firmware update alone does not fix the problem."

I just tried on one phone and it shows the correct time - so guessing we all forgot to do the factory reset + reprovision that's needed to complete a firmware update to fix a timezone issue.... wtf...

Interesting. Unfortunately all our handsets are the T48S and the newest firmware is 66.86.0.180 so I think we are stuck with it. I tried a factory reset on the off-chance, but no change.
