Hi

I have IT request and projects on my to do list . Is there a way to set up them organised with repeated reminders so that i don't miss out any important tasks.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Depends how many tasks and how many people and how you want to organise things.

Do they reoccur? Do they need priorities? What won't just putting them in a text file do that you want to do?

If it's long term recuirring things like contract expirations, or the old "hoover out the projectors" job, then we just have recurring calendar events.

I use calendar notifications with brief description then reference the call/ticket system ref number. This can accomplish a bit but if you have more complex tasks and multiple people doing them then planner software would prob be better with some sort of email reminder

Helpdesk ticket, added to inbuilt calendar of shared/personal calendar.

Issue, added to inbuilt calendar of shared/personal calendar.

Anything else, added to calender.

Yet to fail me. Simple, effective and works.

Microsoft Planner for us. Helps keep track of our own jobs outside the Helpdesk. Added as a Tab in Teams and works great.

I've been using Microsoft Todo and that seems to do the job for me.

Can easily create lists & setup reminders for yourself - even links in with Outlook to mark emails.
