Saw a car the other day with a "wee person on board" sticker. The font was so difficult to read, at first glance I thought it said "we poison our bread"

 

Well, the two are not mutually exclusive ...

Well done to the designer for putting in the commas correctly

 

However, could they please clarify which animals are allowed motorcycles under 50cc - and add the appropriate apostrophe

(i.e. animal's)

 

and also

I see a lot of this firm's vehicles about, mainly, somewhat appropriately, just sat there. Why would you name your firm something that makes it sound as if your staff don't really do a lot?Google reviews suggest that perhaps it's safer for all concerned when their vehicles aren't moving, though.

Yes, this is very picky but, for reasons I'll go into in the "What annoying things..." thread later, I was not a happy bunny. The bottom squiggle is for the change in font size and lack of capitals for the Thai dish. Can you spot any mistakes I've missed?

 

One you won't be able to spot is that either their catering packs were incorrectly labelled, of someone didn't know the difference between Beef Bourguignon and braised beef.

Sadly I don't have pictures, but years ago the local paper had a shop front for a while. They would print out headlines and things on A4 and stick them in the window. Every single one had "Sample text here" at the top and bottom.

Menus are often problematic to parse. For instance, "charred red pepper and spinach puree": is the charred red pepper puréed?

One of my teachers has just forwarded me this with a subject of "Joined up thinking?". It gets added to the footer of all emails which go in to Suffolk County Council. I can kind of see his point.....

I always think similar when I spend money on line and my bank sends me a text message with a code to enter to confirm it’s me, but then the text also says “NEVER share this code with ANYONE!”. But I need to, that's why you've sent me the text!

Just had an email about a laptop that comes

 

equipped with advanced features such as an Ethernet port for stable connectivity

 

Now, I know that some laptops no longer have an Ethernet port to save space, but it's hardly "advanced".
