We need to purchase some lighting cables for our iPads, it may well be a case of 'you get what you pay for' but I just can't see getting the budget for these at £19 each....

Obviously I need a good quality cable, nothing that will fray or burst into flames... so I'm concerned about random ebay or Amazon purchases.

Does anybody have good reliable sources for these at a more reasonable cost?

As with @Arthur, I would recommend Anker and AmazonBasics personally... though I would say braided cables are a must, as they are more resilient, especially when kids are involved. I have been known to get a variety of unknown brands just due to this and haven't had issues.

Agree about Anker and AmazonBasics. But if it’s MfI certified it will be fine. Even as a so called ‘Apple fan boi’ id never spend £19 on a lightning cable.
