Dear All,

 

A you may or may not know, I was the lucky winner of the stonking main prize in ICT Direct's prize draw. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows/200985-ict-direct-winter-upgradathon.html. In the same week, I also won the "weekly draw" of a to-be-decided bit of kit. As the draw was to help all the winners out (while providing us all with a bit of fun and drumming up some publicity for the lovely peeps at ICT Direct) I feel that I ought to spread the joy out a bit more and so I've suggested to @ICTDirect_Dave that the weekly prize (hey, I'm not a saint!) should metaphorically be "thrown back in the pot".

 

After mulling over how best to do this, we couldn't make up our minds. It would save Dave (or me) a lot of work to just pick someone, but might lead to accusations of favouritism. I guess I could just have said "offer it to whoever on the QT", but it seemed somehow underhand. Plus (and this isn't coming from Dave!), why not get a few more eyeballs on their company?

 

Whilst looking at the previous winners and responses to the thread it struck me that one member took the time to help others out by applying their Photoshop skills and sharing the results: @DJ-1701 so... POLL TIME!

 

Do you think that @DJ-1701 should get a mystery prize from Dave, should those who've contributed to the original thread go in the hat, or would you rather it was an open draw? (Possibly with previous winners ineligible). Or something else (state in thread)?

 

Poll closes at Midnight tonight in order to give Dave a chance to do a draw tomorrow if necessary.

Yeah - the closest available option was "keep open for one day". Unfortunately any votes not cast before the stated closing date won't be counted.

Special thanks of course also go to @LeMarchand (who really deserved both prizes with his effort in the competition) and @ICTDirect_Dave. Thank you for running yet another most excellent competition! :D

 

Pfft. We all know that @Katy and I won every single draw, but we're both just too nice to accept the prizes.

Besides, I don't even need a new PC. I just wanted to be part of the shenanigans :D (Edit: the first sentence may be a lie, but this one at least was not :))
