As title : recommend me a large touch-screen device for the Head's Office.

 

This will save us having to keep putting in a laptop and projector when staff and externals are doing presentations for interviews etc.

 

Probably looking at something around the 65" size.

Not got one myself, but I was looking at the 65” Benq RP653 the other day, I think they come in at around £1800.

I am currently looking at one for a ICT room, Leaning towords a Ctouch screen for the 7 year warranty. There does not seem to be a huge amount between them.

The Iiyama Prolite Touch screens are not bad (and I think they go up that big now). Used the smaller 27" screens before now, and never had a problem. A 65" screen is what we use in full classrooms, so you may want to look at a 55" screen instead. Speak to your supplier and get a trial for a week, as a smaller screen may be the best option for you.

Iiyama all the way for us. 5 year de-install / re-install and rock solid. Built well, work well and android built in on 65" model. Great pricing too

Why not use the opportunity to get something more collaborative in there? Thinking Surface Hub or Google's Jamboard? I guess if SLT etc could get a taste of the future it might make things easier to put into classrooms?

I'd look at @Clevertouch or @Clevertouch_Rob (who are an EduGeek sponsor or were last time i checked), I have a few of them around the world now and are gear and support and the firm is great and helpful so given your saying your heads office, its going to be more business than Edu chalk face, I can highly recommend for that as I'm in the commercial world not edu. We looked at the MS Surface Hub for our boardrooms but at the cost we've done several rooms for the cost of 1 Surface Hub.

our new RP750k comes with built in collaborative software, especially send to and back from a device, though bigger than OP suggested. BenQ are also the exclusive distributor for Google Jamboard so will soon be able to arrange a demo.

Right now there is nobody anywhere near as competitive as what Viewsonic are with their screens. I was a bit sceptical at first but I have started to use them in my schools and I have had no problems whatsoever. If you are just wanting a screen with Android OS and don't need any extra software then Viewsonic should take some serious consideration. Built in WiFi 5yr Warranty.

Promethean ActivPanel would be my recommendation.

I'd recommend Clevertouch as the best combo of good hardware and the best software. If that's too pricey then Prowise boards are second choice.

yes touchscreen DM65E Tell them you are buying loads and get a bid price. BT/Misco etc list them at over £2k but they don't really cost anything like that.
