I thought the same when I saw it, but then I thought the label on the left says, sort of, "we aren't going to say what's in this!" but then on the right, they do (because they have to!)

A Sainsbury’s worker appears to have gone rogue – hiding a secret message among the description for some of the supermarket’s plant-based sausages.

 

A cheeky message could be read on Sainsbury’s website by customers shopping for the This Isn’t Pork Plant-Based Sausages.

 

The description for the plant-based sausages, which are made out of pea protein, started normally enough.

 

It read: “Plant-based sausages made from pea protein. 100% Plant-Based. High in Protein and Fibre. Suitable for Vegetarians & Vegans.”

 

But underneath customers were met with what appeared to a secret message typed by a copywriter working for the supermarket chain.

 

It read: “Nobodyreadddssstheeeseeee spaaarrreeeee spppapaaa ccceee onnn thissorryThisssssssspaaackkkkkk uuuuu uuuuuuuuummmrrmmmmmmmmm haveitthewordcountyetwhambamthankyoumamsupercalafragilisticex piealidocious fillerfillerfillerfilleryesssssss icannntttbellliievvveethiisismyyyjobbbblollllllllsssbyeee.”

 

The words “nobody reads these”, “filler filler filler” and “I can’t believe this is my job” could be read in the message among other nonsense.

Sainsbury’s has been contacted for a comment.
